Before I bought this game or even watche any in-game trailer I though only Activision and Marvel could give us very good superhero videogames. But I got to say: I was very surprised by playing this game. Its story, its characters, the way Arkham Asylum looks like is just phenomenal. I just wish it last a little bit longer despite the fact of its very long duration
This was the first of the Arkham games, and playing it again all these years later, it reminds you why it became one of the most enjoyable super hero games ever.
Game arrived in a mediocre amount of time, wish it would have come at least 4 days sooner, but still on schedule. Maybe nothing in stock at the time? Batman AA GOTY is a great game, wish I played before Batman AC, but still an awesome game. Wish there was more features and extra content. Maybe time to invest in 3D glasses?
It’s a fun game
I played this game through with a copy of the original edition borrowed from a friend. The only unfortunate thing is that the save data from the original is not compatible with the GOTY edition. I don’t mind too much since I was planning to play through again anyway.
Enthralling. Great Story. Dark content better suited for adults but truly excellent.
Batman, for good reason, is one of the most famous superheroes. This game epitomizes all of that street cred and legend that Batman is. In it, you are not playing a superhero, you are playing a major bada** saving Gotham from the most nefarious criminals. Excellent game and very very recommended.
This game is awesome, from the clues to find, to the fighting, to the extras. There is a bit of light cussing that I think is unnecessary, but that’s the only complaint. The 3D is a novelty that quickly loses its appeal, but you can say that about all 3D. Since the GOTY (Game of the Year) version is only $1 more than the original game, and this includes a bunch of extras, such as 3D glasses, the choice is a no-brainer. Buy it.
Let me just say that Batman: Arkam Asylum is one of if not the greatest comic book video game ever made. I mean think about it they could have done some cheesy knock-off of the movies but they didnt. Its a stand alone masterpiece that mixes the best of both the dark movies elements with the cartoon T.V. show feel. I mean come on they even have Luke Skywalker himself as the voice of the joker. It doesnt get much better then that. I highly recommend this game to anyone with half a brain. If you want hours of fun, kick-butt action then this game is for you. Buy it today.
First off, let me just say that Batman is my favorite superhero of all time! That being said, when I bought this game it was a dream come true. They finally came out with a good Batman with this game. The story is epic, the villains are awesome, and the action is superb! Next to Arkham City this is the greatest superhero game ever made! Whether you have a 360 or a PS3P, get this game! It’s not a masterpiece you wanna miss out on.
