From someone who has actually PLAYED the game. (I dont’ understand how someone who hasn’t played it can review it one way or the other). In any event, the games is good. Very good. If you’re familiar at all with the Unreal Tournament/PC series, you will feel right at home here. The player models, game types and some of the maps for UC are the same as UT2003/PC, but the graphics are not as good. To be fair, pumping the graphics on UT2003 makes it look incredibly pretty, but the game begins to chug, even on my high-end PC. I haven’t played UC Live or Multiplayer yet, maybe tonight. But the single player experience looks pretty darned good so far.Does the game suffer from anything??? The same thing all fps type games suffer from on consoles . . . NO MOUSE/TRACKBALL SUPPORT. Moving, looking and shooting with the thumbsticks is an imprecise study in frustration. Why oh Why hasn’t a third party developer come up with a simple trackball type device. It would DEFINITELY make games like this more enjoyable and reduce the learning curve for people coming over from the PC world.Don’t expect much of a story line here. There isn’t one. UC is a sport where you kill the other guy, or take his flag, or toss the ball into his base thing (bombing run). That’s all you need to know.If you’re an action gamer who is used to the fps control scheme, GET THIS WITHOUT HESITATION. If you had a choice between UC/xbox and UT2003/PC *I’ve got both :), I’d say go PC simply because of the possi.
Unreal Championship is a very addictive first person shooter game. Once you start playing this game, you continue to play and play. Unreal Championship is a game where you use a wide variety of weapons to eliminate you opponents and get kills. My favorite weapon in the arsenal is the redeemer. The first time you witness this mini nuclear device in action, you’ll agree it’s the best weapon in the game. Fire and guide a nuclear missile to helpless opponents. It is highly recommended that you keep a good distance from the impact point. Unreal offers a wide variety of different game types. These include deathmatch, team deathmatch, capture the flag, double domination, and bombing run. Each one is a different twist on the game. I myself prefer a good old deathmatch. Shoot each other to death until some hits the kill limit. I must warn that this game is not good for education. The creators of Unreal Tournament even brought football into the game! This game is called bombing run. There is one ball and you can pass it around and you try to shoot the ball into the end zone. The only difference between bombing run and football is that it would definitely not be televised. If it would be televised, human rights activists would be eating the producer. This action packed shooting game is one of the best games I have ever played. I would recommend this game to everyone.
I bought this game when it first came out, expecting to be able to just jump into dozens of arenas, handle a huge arsenal of the usual weapons, and enjoy some good split-screen deathmatch after tiring of Halo. (I don’t have Xbox Live, so shoppers needing details on that should look elsewhere in these reviews). My first reaction was disappointment. It is complicated to set up a character and to figure out how to play splitscreen. Most of this is due to a patchy instruction manual. The action was also very frenetic, almost too chaotic for me after months of playing the more moderately paced Halo. The graphics were pretty good, but I’d heard only glowing things about the characters and maps, and it just didn’t look that good to me. Most disappointingly was a seeming lack of cool arenas for deathmatch — only about eight or so. I wasn’t interested in playing the other game styles, like capture the flag, double domination, and bombing run. I would have only given the game about three stars based on that experience. That’s where my mistake lay. I recently launched into the single player mode, which takes you through all the various kinds of matches. To my surprise, I discovered they are much more fun than I had imagined. There are seven or eight different arenas for each kind of match, and the outdoor ones really shine. Also, in the full-screen single-player mode, the graphics rock. The textures, detail and colors are great, and easy beat Halo in my estimate. I’ve also gotten a chanc.

Enter the championship-the combat sport of the future. Can’t wait for Halo 2, then get UNREAL CHAMPIONSHIP, it will satisfy your hunger to kill, and dominate! UNREAL CHAMPIONSHIP is only on XBOX!
This game is good, but I really like Halo better. Graphics in UC are really great. Voice is great. I’ve had almost no lag problems on x-box live. I’m disappointed that Halo is not ready for X-box live. The weapons in UC don’t appeal to me and there are too many. The gameplay is really hectic, less strategy than Halo, but maybe I just need to learn. There is really ampy music playing all the time. I should take some time to customize it. I’m more likely to feel nauseaus and need to stop after playing for extended time than when I play Halo. Online is great, but I haven’t had the opportunity to have so many players and it’s kind of frantic. I like to have a moment to think, to strategize. With so many players, you just need to start running and keep the trigger down. That’s less fun.Halo is tight. UC is pushing forward which I appreciate. I can’t wait for Halo 2. That will be more my speed.
Anyone can make a first-person shooter. Thankfully, Unreal brings a number of new twists to the console FPS genre. The game includes unique “races” with different traits and abilities — so you can select a character based on your style of play. Plus the single-player mode includes a number of fun twists on a team strategy game. But where you really need to be is on X-box Live. Once you get online, you may never leave the house. Unreal is incredibly fast-paced and fun. There are alternate games like “Double Domination” and classics like “Capture the Flag,” but don’t kid yourself… You’ll spend most of your time in deathmatch or team deathmatch. You won’t be sorry you bought this game… But your girlfriend/wife/kids/family/friends might be, since you’ll be trying to spend all your time playing!
Look I love Halo and this game.. but they ar not alike and niether are they supposed to be. Unreal is much faster and online with xboxlive. Going on this game with xboxlive is the coolest thing ive done in a long time in video games.(Playing CS) This game rules go out and get it along with xbox live.( Xbox live requires an Xbox(if u dont have one nows is deffently the time)and a broadband connection like dsl or cable) If you need an xbox and broadband got to speakeasy.com they have an incredable deal.
Product Excellent!
Love it.
The new unreal sequel is here and only for Xbox.”Unreal Championsip 2003″A really good reason to buy Xbox console. The story is simple you must kill everything that is not in your team. You can play deathmatch, capture the flag, bomber run etc.The game use the new 3D engine and is really good. The graphics are better than Hallo. The sound is good… the gameplay good… but the LIVE action is the better!!! Invite your friends and kill them…The deference between unreal tournament 2003 for PC and unreal championship for xbox is the stages. Unreal Championship 2003 have more!!!!!!
