I downloaded this game onto our Xbox 360 for my 5 year old daughter and she’s obsessed with it! I love that it’s multiplayer so she and I can build and create together. I purchased the PS3 version for my little brother for Christmas after seeing how much my daughter enjoyed it. He’s hard core into legos and video games and this game is like a combo of those things, so it was a huge hit! I really like how it’s great for basically all age groups – a game my husband and I actually enjoy playing with our girls since it does appeal to kids and adults both. It can be as complex as you want it to be, but also simple enough to keep a younger child’s attention.

My 7 year old son LOVES Minecraft and he now has me playing it with him – I have to admit I never understood the popularity but it is actually alot of fun and I am in my mid thirties. I heard the top 3 inventors behind this game left the company they founded when it was purchased (by Microsoft or Google can’t remember which one) but I hope the work on the game continues and it gets expended along the lines that made it as ood as it is today. Very clever!
The game was in great shape and it play in excellent operation. Had no problem as it is play with almost every day by my grandsons.
This is a fun game for both me and my kids. I could play for hours if I wasn’t a stinking adult with responsibilities. My 7 year old son is like a Minecraft guru and he’s noted that there are a lot of differences between this version and the PC version. The PC version has extra blocks and can have hacks added. It’s also a lot easier to join a online multiplayer game with PC. In the PS3 version you have to invite a friend or get invited by a friend to play together. All in all the PS3 game is better for us because we can do split screen together.
Kids cannot get enough of this game
This was purchased for my 9 year old son, and he absolutely loves it! I don’t know much about the game at all, but this is his favorite one to play all of the time. I have to limit his time because he won’t stop playing. lol. You can do tons of things and it is very customizable. My 8 year old daughter loves to play alongside him. Great Game

my son (5) is addicted to this game, he had it on the kindle (pocket edition) and we finally bought a ps3 for him to play. HOURS AND HOURS of fun, and now dad can join in too. lots of creative play and different things to do. he’s thrilled.
