Grandson loved it, big Tony Hawk fan
Okay I have a 12 yr old son that has everything – he loves this game and the portability of taking it with him on trips or function we parents make him attend.
From what I have heard, the Project 8 series on the xbox 360 and ps3 is a whole new game, as opposed to a recycled version of Tony Hawk Pro Skater. Make no mistake, the psp version of project 8 falls into the latter category. This is simply the ps2 version of pro skater scaled down onto the small screen. Don’t get me wrong–this is a great game that is a lot of fun to play. I had lost interest in the hawk games when they hit the “short bus” category with the Bam tour and THUG. But this is Hawk tried and true, and it is right on the money. I haven’t found any explosions, segways, or bikes on this one, and I’m really hoping I don’t. This one plays good and looks good. I don’t know about the music cause I don’t even bother with it. Lots of levels to play with some old school stuff thrown in.
I have been a Pro Skater fan since the beginning. I’ve mastered every game the series put out (except THUG2 and American Wasteland because I was too dissapointed with them to try to beat them). Now I haven’t played this game on any other system but the PSP. I’m 100% certain that the PS3 and Xbox360 versions are much better but I am still pretty impressed with this one. The graphics are looking better than ever, even on the PSP. I like the addition of the classic levels because I love the oldschool Tony games. The new "slo-mo" thing is a neat addition also but have yet to figure out how to use it properly because I keep bailing for some reason, (maybe a tutorial would help). The soundtrack is a little lacking. I’m a punk lover and there aren’t many punk tunes on this (at least not good ones). Other than that, I haven’t been able to put this game down. This one is definetly more challenging than the others but that’s what I love about it. I have been playing this series for years and I would be dissapointed if everything was too easy. Aaanyways, it’s a real great game on the go and extremely fun. Buy it.

Ordered for Christmas Gift not knowing what to expect and was very satisfied. I placed my order late in December and much to my surprise I received the game before Christmas. My child and I were happy with the game. I again was overall satisfied with everything. Thank you for a wonderful online shopping experience.
He is a TH fan, games, boards, t shirts, gear, it’s one of his things, Like many of my reviews I can only assume that he liked it from positive response when it was unwrapped.
dont get me rong thug is a game but to me thp8 was just a rerun of thug and thps i liked it overall theres good glitches and u can walk around and stuff but to me it is jus a skating game
