Great game…very simple..my 4 yr old nephew can play and better than me. The music is super calm, the levels are beautiful, Buy this game. :)
Not having a great understanding of any kind of game, I have to rely on the kids who play them. The older kids win pretty fast with this game, but the little girls seem to really have fun with it. Cute, if you like smurfs.
Unfortunately, the movie didn’t do well, so the game doesn’t get a lot of attention. However, don’t let that stop you. This game is a blast -for young and old alike. You can play your favorite characters (Pape, Grumpy are my favorite). And like Mario, you have to rescue the princess (for us, the only princess from our childhoods, Smurfette). You collect berries along the way while avoiding various obstacles on an increasing silly/difficult level. It is suitable for a youngster because when you die, you come back to life at the spot you died. No starting over, so my 4 year old doesn’t get bored and quit. It is not difficult to beat, so it should be something of an ego booster. The learning curve is nothing, so just let the kids play.Highly recommended.
was on time grand children enjoy this game. i will be ordering more from this company. i liked the game.
i returned this item only because i order so much or buy so much for my grandkids i didnt know i had already purchased it. it is a very good movie so people buy this for your kids. it doesnt cost that much and it will help you and they will love you for it.
We rented this yesterday from Redbox with a free code – so no money was spent. My 5 year old son picked this out as he loves playing the Smurfs Dance game at his cousin’s house. He right away figured out the game play. It’s a side scroll- platform style (akin to Mario or Sonic). You can pick from a couple of different Smurfs (Papa, Grumpy, Vanity, Clumsy, & Brainy) in the beginning and “earn” different Smurfs as you complete levels. Of course the object of the game is to rescue Smurfette and along the way you collect Smurf-berries, coins, potions, avoid bugs, animals, etc. For those parents that are easily annoyed with the “Smurfs theme – aka la la la, you will hear it a bunch when the Smurfs are powered up.The nice thing is the Smurfs don’t die easily and will return back to where they “died” (which helps an easily frustrated 5 year old). The game play seems pretty simple. He’s been through a few different levels (there doesn’t seem to be any order) and beat a couple of boss stages (also pretty simple). My 9 year old son lost interest in this pretty quickly, but like I said my 5 year old picked it out and he’s played it a few times since we rented it yesterday and is already asking me if we can rent it again.—–I just wanted to update this and say that this game is indeed very easy for the little kids to play. The 2nd day of rental my 5 year old beat the game. I thought he would then be done with it, but once the game was beaten, he then went back to various levels and played.
My two nephews really enjoy playing this game, Smurfs 2 of the Wii.They never did play the first Smurfs video game, but they do eventually want to get it as well, since they do enjoy this one. They said the game is kinda like the Super Mario games, but with Smurfs instead. This is rated E (Everyone) so it is fine for children.
My 7 year-old daughter is a huge Smurfs fan and has really enjoyed playing Smurfs 2 Wii. It’s a pretty typical side-scrolling platform game, where your Smurf’s job is to run through the level, collect Smurfberries, potions, and coins, free enchanted animals, and defeat various enemies. You get to choose which Smurf you play as, and as you progress through the game, you can unlock additional Smurf characters with different abilities to help you… Jokey throws gift boxes that explode to destroy enemies, for example, while Hefty smashes rocks and Brainy jumps super high. My daughter was very focused on unlocking all of the Smurfs, especially Smurfette, and I think the ability to switch from one Smurf to another in the middle of a level was one of her favorite things about the game.Anyway, the levels themselves aren’t at all difficult to beat – I think my daughter only “died” twice in the entire course of her gameplay – and it probably took her only 4 or 5 hours of play time to beat the entire game. Though the overall game is pretty easy, trying to check off all of the achievements and collect all of the coins has been a bit more of a challenge. We spent an awful lot of time in two-player mode trying to complete and unlock everything.Overall, I think this is a great game for younger gamers and especially for multi-kid familes or for those of you who like to play video games together with your children, but even with all of the things to unlock it still feels a bit short for a fu.
Grandson loves this game, he has been playing it non-stop since he has received his copy. Not a game that interest me, but he loves it!
Got it.. thanks!
