A fun iteration in the Sims franchise, and a good way for console gamers to get into the Sims.My only real complaints are- A lack of content compared to the PC version- Over priced DLC that adds little to the overall experience of the game.If you have a PC then I recommend getting the Sims for PC but if not then be sure to give this a try on console.
Sims 3 is great. I was hesitant about playing this on a game system as oppose to a computer. for one, the computer the graphics were better for sims 2. BUT the update on the graphics and zoom changed my mind. If you are sims fan, like me, and used to play on the computer, the PS3 version is awesome… One differece I noticed in Sims 3 and Sims 2 is in Sims 2 you can crete multiple families in a neighborhood and create your own neighborhood. You can not do that on Sims 3, PS3 version. One family per neighbor, per game. Unless I’m missing something. One flaw, I think there is a glitch so beware. One of my sims is suck on the bed and I dont know who to get him off or what to do.
Sims 3 for the PS3 was the first title launch of the Sims on the console and it proved to live up to the hype and fun favoured by PC gamers with whom it has been associated with mainly over the years. Create you Sims to match your “ideal” lifestyle or you can just make them with the bad traits based on your choices throughout the game to which there are additional packs that you can purchase online to complement the retro style playing environment.Guaranteed fun for those PS3 owners who have tried Sims on a PC before.
I’m not a big video gamer, so I don’t have much to compare this to. It’s fun, but kind of weird. Basically like watching a reality show that you can control. I haven’t had any issues with the game functioning properly, though I’ve only played a few times. I read a lot of other reviews on this game and comparing it to Sims 3 for other game consoles, and the PS3 seemed better than Wii, which was the other one I was considering. I’m happy with it….
I Love every sims game known to man, both old and new but I prefer the classics. It brings me back to a happier place.
This game is a little addictive. The only thing that I was disappointed about is the quality of the picture. I expected it to have a little better resolution like the blu ray player option but it is the same quality that my computer had when I played on that. Otherwise the game functionality is better than the original. I am disappointed that some of the options are not available. I know if I had internet access I might be able to get them from the exchange. Unfortunately, at this time I dont have internet access to my PS3.
I have played The Sims for many years now. This Sims game is one of the best yet. I order this game and it came right on time in perfect working condition. Every Sims game is different on different platforms. This being PS3, it is more limited than the PC version. I knew that ahead of time however. So, I really enjoy this game.
Lots of fun if you love the Sims. If your computer can run it, I would recommend getting the PC version, because there is no DLC for this console version. My laptop is very outdated so I am happy with the PS3 version. I just wish the sims could have pets, and maybe one instrument other than guitar for your sim to play. Some of the other really fun fantasy stuff from earlier games is missing as well (vampires, zombies, magic etc). Trying to earn challenge and karma points keeps things moving.
First off, Sims is NOT designed for PS3so right off the bat I knew I was getting a game that was going to lag and load a lot.Know what you’re getting into, people!PROS:- higher graphics- wider variety of objects, buildings, locations, Sims, emotions, etc.- slow-to-fill fire barCONS:- Lags a lot due to loading- No direct Sim control like in Sims2To put it simply, a PC’s gaming platform is higher than a PS3so this is an adaptation from the PC version to a PS3-friendly version.Nevertheless, it gets pretty slow sometimes. The world of Sims has greatly improved since Sims2with new objects, house floors, cars, locations, clothes, designs, etc.One of the greatest contributions Sims3 makes is the fire barwhich now takes longer to fill unlike Sims2 which fills up in seconds.Overall,5/5
Great buy games good vondition my girl plays daily.
