Whenever a new not so high budget game gets released, people tend to stay as far as they can from getting it because of how low the production value can be. Yes, the game doesn’t have the best graphics though t is still beautiful to look at and it does lack a lot in animation department, but it does have the best game story this year in addition to a very well written script and top notch voice acting for the main characters. It is one of the best games I have played this year.
Overall I really enjoyed this game. The atmosphere was fun, the music was well done, the settings and art were good, and the challenges were engaging. This is not a shooter. It’s a challenging game that gets you thinking. Some of the puzzles are number patterns, for example, which I find hard, and others are situation driven – you have to come up with a general plan and see if the game will let you execute it.The flaws are minor for this type of game. Sequencing of dialog sometimes made assumptions about what you had or had not already done. This is a risk when you can do things in several orders of sequence. The animations are not great and the in-game objects and people did not behave in a convincing way. There are some occassions where the odd behavior of the animated people can actually box you into a corner from which there is no escape. So, save your game. These minor frustrations did not detract from the fun and challenging experience. The scenery merely provies clues and setting. The real game play is in your head.I wish more developers would produce games like this one, or other variations on the idea of the adventure/puzzle/quest game for PS3. I laud Atlus for putting something out there that does not require twitchy reflexes.
Interesting game, great puzzles. I wish it was a bit more interactive though. The graphics should be updated too. Overall recommend.
Great game
If you love puzzle games and hate anything that involves fighting or shooting or racing for that matter, this game is for you! It is quite long to play and some mysteries will keep you up at night to figure out. A downside is that sometimes, you see where the characters are trying to go and try for a shortcut that the game won’t let you take until you find all necessary elements, even the most trivial. But there is Sherlock “Sixth sense” that one may use when stuck, and brain-hurting solvings may be skipped too. I would highly recommend it.
I love it
This is an old school point and click type game. Puzzles are good and not too hard (well most are not too hard), good story line, fun to play. Not to long so I did not get board. It has a good flow, Really enjoyed it. I played it on a rainy weekend and finished it, and will play it again in a year or so.

Definitely a low-budget game, but on the whole pretty good.Graphics are so-so, but personally if the game is good who cares about the graphics – so that one’s subjective. The plot is excellent! Twists, turns, and surprises everywhere! Definitely exciting for a SH fan. There are quite a few bugs and glitches throughout the game (getting stuck in the floor while walking, sound cuts out completely, it tells you to walk through a door that doesn’t appear, etc.) – so do be sure to save a lot.The game is not the greatest with explaining all there is to do. Let me elaborate – the vast majority of the game is all about puzzles and strategy. You have to figure out how to get this there, or convince so-and-so of this… but half of the time you don’t realize you CAN do that. For example, at one point you have to mix 3 things in order to achieve a desired result. You have to drag and drop these things in your inventory to create the new result. Trouble is, at no point in the game was it made clear that doing this was possible. I had no idea that you could pick up an item and add it to another one. It was impossible to do before this point in the game so why would it all of a sudden be possible? Things like that. All said and done, I did enjoy playing this game but it’s definitely got it’s bugs, and those bugs DID hamper gameplay from time to time.
Item as described and for a great, affordable price. We are very happy and pleased with this purchase. Thank you!
