Great game. not as easy to control on xbox as a pc but still good.
this is another game my son really likes to play with all his friends and friends he plays with online,.
As I’ve been asking this question forever and no one could give me an answer, allow me to fill you in: NO, this game has not had any updates. It is what it is.I have an Xbox 360 Elite. The Elite and Arcade units have an upgraded chipset, and see much fewer crashes than the other bundled units. If you have an Elite or Arcade, you should be okay playing this game.SupCom for Xbox uses quite possibly the most innovative and thought-out control structure I’ve seen yet on a console. The controls not only make sense, but they’re easy to LEARN, and they WORK. You select your unit, press a direction on the D-pad to bring up a wheel menu, then use your left and right sticks – sometimes together as needed – to highlight an option which you select with the A-button. It also has a relatively simple method to assign and select groups. There’s a short learning curve to remember which direction on the D-pad accesses which menu, but if you get it wrong, just press a new direction and the menu will adjust.Unfortunately, the instructions that come with the game – as well as the in-game tutorial – do a lousy job of telling us how to actually play the game. For example, we are never told how to make a level-3 construction unit build level 1 or 2 structures. Secondly, while the game tells us we can outfit our commanding unit with upgrades, we are not told how! In both cases, you access the unit’s build menu, and use the right control stick to select an inner-wheel of the menu, which wil.
It was great nothing went wrong
Amazing game, you will need to install to play, i need people to play with my gt is Lancer 820
Surpreme Commander (Xboc addition) was a blast from the past! Compared to it’s more fast paced and up to date version, Surpreme Commander 2, this game brought back the thrill of commanding *massive* armies of land, naval, and air units with the sheer carnage that follows when two opposing armies clash in the middle of the huge maps that take time to traverse. This version of Surpreme Commander is of course more slow and not as fast paced as many RTS gamers of today would like but if given a try, many will find this to be a welcome challenge not just in fighting your opponent but also in managing your economy to keep things in the green.10/10 would recommend this game to anyone who loves to take their time, build complex bases that are hard to destroy and love having all out war with armies that outnumber the amount of units you can have normally in Surpreme Commander 2.
Great game, really time consuming
I loved the second one before I even bought the first one. This game is so much fun and kept me occupied for days!
I come from the Command and Conquer era, and I will say this game is a step above that. The pieces follow a nice rock-scissors-paper hierarchy and the scope of the maps is such that you can choose the rush attack or turtle defense as you prefer. Fun game even though is it going on 8 years old now – lots of replay value.
Me and my friend play the crap out of the second one this one youll need to take a little time to understand but once you know how to play the game in skirmish or online it is really fun.
