This game got no attention from the industry probably because it was released about a month before the ps2 debuted.Too bad its a lot of fun particularly for casual gamers like me. If youre an expert who beats a whole game the day you bring it home you will probably feel like this is a childs game. Each environment favors a different character (or their weapon and tactics)The death star is cool and when the rancor is after you you get chills from fear. One cool thing (maybe a glitch?) Is when the battle is done dont push the button to advance and keep destroying objects in the environment you might be surprised what happens.I would call this the best star wars game ever except with the better graphics I do favor the battlefront series on ps2.
I played this game about ten years or more ago and I enjoyed it then. Decided to finally buy it and I was not disappointed. While the graphics are not at all the best today, the game-play is very fun. I would recommend if you have a ps1 or ps2 on hand and you want a good button mashing game. Would like to a new version come out, but I highly doubt that. Don’t get demolished!
This is Twisted Metal meets Star Wars!! Thats right die hard fans, play as over 10 different Star Wars Universe characters…. Even the "Man" himself, Boba Fett. Four different 1 player games to choose from. Several in 2 player mode. Different power ups and all in the name of "Raking in the Cash". If you fail… well Jaba the Hutt is likely to have something nasty instore for you! I recomend this game highly to Star Wars fans.
I am very satisfied with this product
…at least on the Playstation, that is. It’s about time we get a good Star Wars game on this system. It may not be a masterpiece, but it’s certainly good enough to restore just a LITTLE faith in LucasArts.I’ll start with some of the negatives that have been brought up: 1) There is no reverse button. Really, once you get good at the game, you don’t need a reverse button, but I still think it would be good to have one just the same. 2) The graphics, while excellent for the most part, can also make some things very hard to see, especially thermal detonators on the ground and smaller vehicles (Aurra Sing, Darth Maul, Leia, and especially Boba Fett). 3) Worst of all, this game has a bad habit of freezing up during loading screens, more often than any other that I’ve ever played. Now, after considering those things, I kept at it, and I find that this game is actually really fun. Some have complained that it’s too hard, but that’s just something to be remedied by practice and strategy. After awhile, I found myself feeling that it was too easy. The other complaint is that the storyline is not consistent with Star Wars, but come on. Even the games that were supposed to be directly based on the movies did not follow the movie scripts to the letter! If they did, there really would not be much of a game. Besides, the Star Wars Universe has plenty of openings for alternate storylines. Just look at all the novels, fanfics, and RPGs out there.I also like the music in this game, b.
This game was awesome. It will last you for months and months. than take a brake, than play for another month. I really loved how once you beat it with all the charectors you unlock Darth MAul, Lobot, and Boushh(disquised princess Leis) AWESOME!
This is like twisted metal but in the galaxy far far away.
This is a rather hard game but the levels and the people r the best. Bet on yourself. U win U get the credits U lose U lose the credits. There is a price on your head who will collect??This game rules. Be Boba Fett, ATT Battle tank, STAP, Speeder, PodRacer, and others. Planets r Death Star II, Naboo, Dagobah, Yavin 4, and others too.Sorry about my last review it was very incomplete. This game is sweet. U don’t always have to bet on yourself u can also play to get different charactors. Like Darth Maul and many others. Play at different planets and fight different numbers of computer controlled opponents. To get different ppl it is all random except for the guy u use to kick the computer…Do U feel like kickin the computer…right now? This game is pretty easy when u want to do that in a squirmish. Power ups and recharges r availible on every level. HINT: Just be careful not to blow ur recharge places…!!! They don’t come back!!Blow up a droid wondering around for special weapons that never run out until u pick up another. These include Missle launcher, retractor beam, photon laser thing, and a thermal detonator launcher. These help u to blow ur opponent into the ground and then some. HINT: with the special weapons u must have force power to use it.Each character has its own special charge up deal. Like with the ATT battle tank it shoots its big cannon and blows the opponent to the other side of the planet!! (not lieing, it really blows the other opponent to th.
