This Game is a must have for anyone. I’m 32 and love this game, my nephew is 8 and he is really into it. So its great for all ages. The free roaming around N.Y.C is so much fun. I swing and jump from buildings for hours lol. The story mode will keep your attention throughout the whole game. Can’t forget how great the graphics are. The controls are easy to figure out too no frustration with the button s. A must have. Buy, Buy, Buy!!!!!
This game gets a lot of things right. For me, it gets enough right to outway the bad that I have seen in some game site reviews. First and foremost, getting around open Manhatten is very fun. The controls are fluid and easy to use. I personally do not have a problem with the web rush ability. I think it adds a cool extra way of traveling the world.I thought the developers did a good job of pacing the game with combat vs. stealth vs. travel. Plus, if you are really tired of playing the story, there is always Manhatten to swing around.Yes, the combat is very much the formula used in the Batman games, and why shouldn’t it be? Rocksteady has a great formula there. I by no means felt like I was playing Batman though. Even if it is the same style the combat felt unique to Spider-Man. Another cool page plucked from Batman is the deteriorating Spidey costume. As you play, his suit becomes more beat and torn up.The one liners by Spidey are funny and fitting. What can I say, I like the little things developers add to enhance the entertainment. Spidey even has some lines if you leave him standing idle for a few minutes. The load screen is even useful since it lets you scroll through the tips section and provides entertainment via the Twitter like texts from citizens along the side.I feel like the controls are not too difficult to master. Be aware that to perform a special move (unlockable ability) the opponent must have the dazed symbol rotating around his head. There appe.
Finally, Beenox has delivered an awesome and durably realistic Spider-Man game with such realistic authenticity than previous games! Despite this being the first Spider-Man movie-based game the developer has ever done, since Treyarch handled the games based on the Tobey Maguire/Sam Raimi films of the series, this Spider-Man game, when I first played it, looked so surreal. The Free-roaming feature looked like as if I was in Spidey’s world with purified realistic graphics. Good thing Beenox added the free-roam/open world compatability that was dearly missed in "Shattered Dimensions" and "Edge of Time" (with EOT being their shortest Spidey game). One new feature to these Spider-Man games is the "Web Rush" feature. That is/was so badass.Unlike previous Spider-Man movie games, The Amazing Spider-Man does not feature the voices of the actors featured from the film (Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans). Instead, consists of an entirely different voice cast but with likenesses of Gwen and Dr. Connors from the film of the actors that played them (sans Garfield’s Peter Parker) is still used. When you look at Gwen Stacy, she doesn’t really resemble Emma Stone at times. She rather looks like someone else. As always like previous Spider-Man movie games, it has the same game formula -1.) Taking on elements from the Comics.2.) Featuring villains that never appeared in the movie, but rather in the game (Rhino will though appear in the upcoming The Amazing Spider-M.
Got this for my teenage son as a gift and he plays it constantly. Pretty challenging and fun! Highly recommended!
It was a worthwhile purchase, and I do not regret buying it. I would recommend this product for other people.

The Amazing Spider-Man: The Game, is based on the new movie of the same name. It’s not a typical remake of the movie in game form either, it actually serves as a sequel. The events are tied to the events of the movie, and takes place a few months after the movie.I will say, right out the door, that this game was better than the movie(Although, to be fair, it kinda would have to be right?) and is currently the best spider-man game I have ever played(taking the title away from Ultimate Spider-man game)The first thing you are going to notice is that the graphics are eye explodingly beautiful! The attention to detail cannot be praised enough, and it feels more like a movie, than the actual movie!Everything from the lens flares, to the window reflections, to the level of shine on cars! Even the water reflects so perfectly! I haven’t seen a game achieve this level of awesomeness in their graphics, since the last Uncharted game.The controls are also top notch, and works well! They kind of have to, since the entire control mechanics is taken right from the much praised Arkham BATMAN games. In fact, much of the entire game plays like an Arkham game, with Spiderman instead of batman. Translation: Kick ass!The DLC is where the game is lacking. I would love to have seen some campaign DLC. Mini-missions and so forth. Instead, I got Stan Lee swinging around gathering Pages, a few different “Be the bad guy and tear s*** up†and of course, a spider-man inspired game of Snake.I would much ra.
i have always been a big spider man fan this game is good for any spider man fan out there. it has great graphics and is always enjoyable to travel in new york city as the one and only spider man.
This Spider-Man Game has Great graphics, Story and Game-play. The Controls are super easy and responsive, Swinging around the city seems smoother than the last spiderman game. The only con is that the game is really short. Completed the Game in 8 hours, The Side Missions, Comic Collecting and Photo taking makes the game a little longer. Also the game does a lot of loading and Takes forever which gets annoying.
