I admit, I wasn’t really into the first four Splinter Cells, the first three because of the forced stealth, and the fourth because of the premise, but Conviction was good, so I jumped to get this game when it came out. It is without doubt the best Splinter Cell game. If they combined a few things and made more maps and missions, and took out the armored thugs that take forever to kill, this game would be totally flawless. It makes you feel like a predator and a bad@$$ with all you can do in this game.
In this game you’ve patched things up with the government. You work for the government in this game. You are Sam Fisher and your job is to stop a major Terrorist attack called the Blacklist or millions of American lives will be lost.In this game you have a team but the single player missions are done solo and side missions can be done alone or with a friend. In this game you have everything at your disposal. Any type of gun or gadget that you could possibly want is in this game. Oh, and I forgot to mention several different types of body armor are available! But, you have to have the money and upgrades to your plane necessary to get these items. Luckily you get cash for every main and side mission you complete. You have three styles you can carry out your mission with: Ghost, Panther, and Assault. Ghost is using non lethal methods to take out your enemies. Panther is killing your enemies lethally but silently and strategically as a panther. Assault is plain and simple, you go in guns blazing. I played mostly the panther style. There is a level where you have to play Ghost style. One level was so hard I played mostly Assault Style. To me Panther style was the best and the most fun way to play. Just a little friendly tip, you get more points and cash if you play the Ghost or Panther style. Ghost is actually worth the most points and cash. The plot and story line is great. The missions are not terribly hard but, some of the Charlie side missions are hard and the final main mission.
I’ve played every Splinter Cell game available for Xbox/Xbox360 and I love them all. I think the first 3 (SC, Pandora Tomorrow, Chaos Theory) are best, but even after this many sequels, the latest game still feels like a real Splinter Cell game to me. The controls work very well and the game is fun overall. Challenging, but not frustratingly difficult. In addition to the traditional stealthy approach, you can also choose to rely more on using guns and grenades if you want to, but you still get the most points if you are stealthy. I think the game got a little too complicated with all the different weapons and upgrades, I could do without that, but maybe some people prefer it this way.Bottom line, if you liked previous Splinter Cell games, get this one.
Awesome
If you are a stealth, action or Splinter Cell fan, you must get this game, it is a must own game, it has great single, co-op and multiplayer modes, great graphics and game play, its the best game in Splinter Cell series. What I love the most is the game can be played at a fast pace if you want, weather it be stealth or assault style, it makes you feel like a bad ass! The game also has great weapons, gadgets and suit upgrades.I will admit I do miss Micheal Ironside’s voice, but the new guy does a good job and sounds good too.For the die hard Splinter Cell fans the game is back to its roots with some new touches, which you should love. Now give this great game your support and buy it!
I love every game in the Splinter Cell series, and the latest one did not disappoint. They kept everything I loved about the series (except Sam Fisher’s voice) and added to it more upgrading fun and features. The story isn’t extremely interesting, but the gameplay makes up for it. The levels are awesome, with lots of ways to navigate them. The new gadgets and armor upgrades are great. The co-op missions are cool, and there is a lot of fun to be had in the revised multiplayer mode.

Playing "Splinter Cell: Blacklist" offers feelings that were both foreign and familiar. Playing the game, I had a sense that I had been here before, long ago, but that the experience was new and refreshing. "Splinter Cell: Blacklist" evokes these feelings because it is, quite honestly, the perfect hybrid of what made the original "Splinter Cell" so great while still keeping relevant in today’s changing gaming culture.Die hard fans of "Splinter Cell" want their "Splinter Cell" to be fairly simple. I am silent. I am deadly, but I do my job best when I move through this environment with full deniability. I have a Fifth Freedom, but this is the freedom to not take a life inasmuch as it is to end a life. "Splinter Cell" accommodates this in many ways. What it also accommodates is the modern mindset of pure reckless abandon; chaos with an iron fist. The ability to rush a level and let pure shooter skill decide who is left standing. You can do this too in "Splinter Cell" and…oddly enough… it never betrays itself. The game performs this very delicate balancing act a few ways. The first is the game’s campaign has each mission (and there are more than expected) playable in one of 3 methods. "Ghost" (which has players being unseen/detected and using non-lethal methods), "Panther" (Unseen but exceptionally deadly), and "Assault" (Go loud… there are no survivors.) You can select gear in an almost RPG fash.
This game is exciting for all ages as it has something for everyone in it. For FPS of multiplayer this game lets you bring together your friends into the game. I would definitely recommend this game and others as they are expanding the realms of the gamers.
I finished the game yearning for more.. much more, and not because this game didn’t provide enough replay value and general excitement, because let me assure you, it did – but because it resembles that of a Hollywood masterpiece you attend the theaters for only to remain glued to your seat watching the credits play out all the while wishing you could relive the past 2 hours again. Yeah, it’s that good. The series reminds me of the very polished MGS franchise, and just as addictive and mesmerizing.Even now with a PS4 at my disposal I find myself turning the 360 back on and replaying the brilliance that is the best game of the series. If I could rate it higher I would – but if you’re like me, and you’re a fan of the franchise, then order this game and don’t fret about calling in to work for being “sick”.
