This game is amazing, for only 20 bucks. The only downfall is that it doesn’t feature any of the NEWER sonic games, such as sonic heroes or any of them like that, they should of maybe bumped up the price and bit and added a little more in there, but other then that its great. (Now that i come to think of it, sonic heros alone is 50$ so i guess they should make this game like $100 and have EVERY SINGLE DAMN SONIC GAME EVER MADE!)

Really like the Sonic games. No blood and gore like in so many games out there. Brought back great memories from the 90’s. Had a game gear with all the extras too and this game has a lot of the games I loved. Sonic 1, 2, 3, Sonic Spinball, and many of the Sonic games that were available for GameGear. So glad it was available for original XBOX. Now if only i can find the Strategy Guide Book from back then and Echo the Dolphin on XBOX
Its great to see this out on all of the major consoles, I fell bad for the Game Cube owners that don’t get to play the Game Gear games that are on the Xbox and PS2 versions. If you grew up in “Nintendo” generation like I did this a definite must have, if only to take you back to simpler times when systems only had a d-pad and 2 or 3 buttons, and we couldn’t save our games. You little kids don’t have any idea how good you have it with your built in hard drives, memory cards and photo realistic graphics. This has all the great Sonic games you remember from the past and some of the not so good ones too. Really only Sonic 3d Blast, it was definitely a cool idea in its day, but I dare you to play that game and not get an upset stomach. The controls are well adapted to the Xbox; you can use the analog stick, although it just doesn’t fell right if you played these on the Genesis. The graphics and sound are just as you will remember and the ability to save your progress makes it worth every penny. All said and done this is a must have for any one who has been playing video games for the past decade or more, and might even be enough to keep the younger ones entertained for a while.
The game is great. It came on time, and no scratches on the disc. It is a A- kind of game.

Excellent games. I missed these back in the day so it’s been fun to finally play them. I found the xbox controller to work very well. The games had very minimal slowdown and ran great.

Elemental old-school 2D platforming sprite-based nirvana. Bosses, rings, a meaningful score…anybody remember the last time a score actually meant something? You WILL care about your score on this baby- so much sprity Japanese goodness in one package- its challenging and interesting enough for adults, and cute and harmless enough for kids. Speed, colors, sprites, smooth controls- I’ve fully converted. I’ve seen the light. I renounce you Mario as a false and demonic god. From now on its Sonic 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Turn off the phone, put the tv by the toilet, lock the doors….I’M GOIN’ TRIBAL!!!!!
