My husband and I share this account. I bought this game because it brings a lot of happy and fun childhood memories, we are young adults and I – the wife- have been playing this game with my own family antd I want to start the tradition with my husband.Pros of this product:The box is small and squared, which makes it an awesome traveling game.The racks stand by themselves so there is no need of the extra stick to hold them up.The racks also have three spaces instead of two.Cons:The tiles are printed instead of carved, so I believe that the will get erased over time, some of them already have smears.The colour of the new tiles for the "yellow" ones really are orange, I included two pictures comparing the new orange ones (first photo) and the original rummikub yellow ones (second photo).
I like the game. It is fun and challenging for all ages. The issue that I have is when I received my package the game box was torn as well as the directions. I didn’t want to return it because there were no more than in stock.
For me, this is one of the best board games ever! It is challenging and keeps my interest. I learned about it from a 98-year-old friend of mine who invited me over to play board games with her before I moved out of state. It was so much fun. I have also played it with 20-something-year-olds and we had a blast. The rules are easy to learn and the thinking part of the game is fun and good for the brain!This particular version of the game, physically speaking, is not quite as nice as my friend’s older version but it is fine. Hers came in a great metal tin and the colors and print on the game pieces are easier to read. I now play this game on the computer, too. Great when one doesn’t have a group of board game aficionados handy. Give this game a try–keep board games alive!
Fun game, easy to learn. It would be n iui ce if the trays were made if wood, not plastic. Not the shops fault but the manufacturer. They blow over if playing outside on the patio on a windy day.
I love to play this entertaining game. The one thing I disliked with this particular product is the tiles colored yellow are extremely light in color.
One of our favorite games right now. We homeschool, so this is used quite a bit. You could alter the instructions for younger kids to help with number recognition also, so it’s great for the whole family.
We had this game when my kids were young and now their kids are loving it too. We played last night with 3 generations, aged 6 to 70. The possible recombinations are as challenging as you make them. It’s fun to see them rise to the challenge.
I bought this on a whim and very glad that I did. To date, we’ve had guests from ages 8 – 72, enjoy this game. It simple, doesn’t require batteries and somehow addicting. There’s reason it’s a classic!
Great game that’s so much fun for families and friends to play together. Makes you think in new ways. Challenging but easy to learn. Doesn’t take all day to play either. Been playing this for years!
Instructions easy to learn. But, if you have questions, you will get a real person to answer. This is a game that might have you asking how to treat certain moves and calling the company might be helpful.
