Best game in the series! Great story without the extra handicaps given to the player in later games. It’s not as difficult as Pokemon Black and White, but it’s not easy either.
This is game is a better improvement over Diamond and Pearl. With more places to explore like Giratina’s dimension and catching more Pokemon to use for your battles. If you didn’t get Diamond or Pearl then this Platinum version is the one you should get.
I was honestly shocked that I got this game NEW for only $70 in an age where GameBoy games go for $300, opening the box was a magical experience for me, it felt just like when I bought it as a kid in Toys R Us all those years ago. The box came with everything, including a fully colored and fairly thick manual, ya’ll remember game manuals? Those were neat.The game ran with no issues but that goes without saying.I love this game, the setting, the story, the new (at the time) pokemon), the soundtrack, holy ____ the soundtrack is amazing.Nowadays where life constantly and without mercy kicks me in the stuff with a steel toed boot, its nice remembering the days when I was happy, keeping up with the game through magazines and serebii, seeing the new pokemon displayed in windows of game stores, then finally playing it with my friends outside on a cool autumn evening.Good memories, Good game, thank you for letting me play it again.
Lol alright so I bought this thinking it was just a complete normal american copy. But it was actually european. Also it came with free LeafGreen… also european. They’re not bootleg, they’re just european. But everything plays in english so it’s fine. Pretty fun suprise though. Guess I didn’t read enough?
This game has to have been my favorite game until X&Y came out. Roselia was definitely my favorite pokemon to come from this generation. I almost cried when I could get a house in-game because I felt like Nintendo was making me a resident in my childhood dream (even though you couldn’t decorate or anything).I was severely disappointed in the shop because I received a bootleg copy and only realized it a year later when it didn’t work properly when I wanted to trade my Pokemon from it to another game.Please research and inspect any products with the help of a search engine to be sure that the one you receive is legit.
Heard this version was popular so seeing as I love Pokemon but missed it growing up I had to pick it up.
this game glognar’s favorite. glognar is took backe to his childhood, as a young glog. platinum is glognar’s favorite game not only for Pokemon, but for DS, and mybe of all glognar time. glognar like the music. glognar still listen to it 10 year later. glognar recieved game with legendary hack in pokemon. glognar very happy about this. glognar recommend to all.
Have never played this game before so I can’t do a full review at least until I play it fully. It is an English version and I’ve had no problems with this cartridge or game so far.
For any die hard Pokemon game enthusiast, this version will make an extremely entertaining and fresh addition to his or her collection. There are so many new features that make this version unique and interesting compared to others. One is the graphics which have been re-vamped with 3D textures built in with the classic sprite animations. A second is the new wide range of brand new Pokemon to capture and collect. Big fan of the classics? After one surpasses the Elite Four a new area is opened which is inhabited by all the originals for those old school players. A third great feature is the amount of activity. After the Pokemon League I had played for over 40 hours and that doesn’t include the places available after the fact. The Battle Frontier is a facility where trainers just battle and is much better than in previous games with more challenges. All in all its a great game with tons to do, and everything is good the second time around. Only downside? Your “rival” is your best friend and is the most annoying rival ever. EVER. He has long dialogu and its all annoying. But he only takes up .1% of the game. Its a great game I recommend it to anyone who’s gotta catch ’em all. 5 Stars
If your a fan like me, repetition isn’t a problem, the story line varies only a little bit, but it is still a fun world to explore, and experience, as well as adding to your Pokemon collection. This one is hard to find so if you want it for your collection, get it while you can. There aren’t many left. I don’t know many other adults who enjoy this, but I love it. Adversaries faint but do not die, and bad guys learn their lesson at the end. (yeah I know, a bit sweet and chessy, but I still enjoy playing.)JRM
