I enjoyed playing this game. It not only has a story mode to play in, you can also play small terrorist hunting games. The game also has split screen compition as well as cooperative play. It also allows for online play.
I first played this back when it came out, renting it from Blockbuster (heh). Then I bought it for my Xbox 360. Played it some more. Then my friend got it for his PS3. Played it some more. Then in 2013 I bought it for my PS3, and it is still just as fun. I don’t really remember the campaign story at all, but terrorist hunt is really all you need. The ability to customize your loadout for every level, before every match, is loads of fun.
Needed a gift for my dad , for his bday , he’s a war vet so he likes war games, he had all of the cod (call of duty) games plus i just wanted to get him something alittle different , the game is a older title , but at the price and quality its a win , win , plus my dad loved it !! Thanks
I really enjoyed playing this game.. the controls were great… I loved being able to play and be part of a team and to have a separate team that you could issue orders to as part of the mission. This game was loads of fun to play and graphically great… It is fun to play multiple times…. I hope they come out with another one…
My friend and I really enjoyed playing the first Rainbow Six Vegas on our Playstations. So we were really looking forward to playing the sequel, figuring everything would just be better — because aren’t sequels ALWAYS better than the originals? Well, R6V2 has some definite improvements over the original — most notably the quality of the graphics and the more frequent saving of checkpoints so every time you both get killed you don’t have to start over at the beginning of the entire level. And R6V2 is still loads of fun. But we’ve also got a couple of major gripes, so here they are:(1) The game may be fun for four players, but for two players it can be really annoying. Why? Because no matter how many actual humans are playing the game, you’re always in a team of four characters. That means that the characters that are NOT being played by humans are played by the computer. And most of the time, these “extra” characters just get in the way. These extra characters didn’t exist in R6V1 so the two-player gameplay was a lot more fun and a lot less annoying.(2) The grenade/infrared buttons have been switched. If you’re using to playing R6V1, then you’re used to pressing the Circle button for infrared and R2 for throwing a grenade. In the sequel, those two buttons are reversed. And so whenever you want to use infrared, you end up throwing a grenade instead. Not sure why the developers thought switching those buttons would make for better gameplay, but my friend and I have “committed.

I love playing this game.I used to play the old rainbow 6 on my computer via mplayer.This is so much fun on a playstation 3 and i recommend it to everyone who likes combat games.
This game provides as excellent opportunity for both of my sons and I to play. The split-screen mode is a lot of fun. There is ample variety to make this game exceptional. I have beat the single player mode and spent many hours enjoying it on normal level. The graphics are good (not the best) but very suitable for the game. The environment is not destructable (if that is your thing) but you must use some planning ahead in order to be successful…not a run and gun game. I normally sell games upon beating them….but not this one!
