Good:1. Graphics2. ControlsBad:1 stage is the same as any other.Just a game about jumping really. You can’t die so the fights are no challenge. Also, it tells you what buttons to push during the fight and stops the gameplay long enough to do so. It also does that on some of the jumps, the ones you don’t need any help on that is. Some of the jumps are ridiculous while the game itself is pathetically easy.It is good at first, but just feels like one long stage of the same jumping and jumping.
Can’t get enough of Prince of Persia great puzzle game kind of like Tomb Raider.
This game is a fun platformer/action-adventure thrill ride. My only compaint is that I wish there were multiple difficulty levels to choose from as this game is not overly challenging and in some areas it feels as though the game is playing itself. Still, it’s good as a casual gaming experience and offers a nice break from some of the more intense games out there such as Bioshock and Dead Space.
This game is awesome….but, I do have issues with it. Visually, its got some of the more impressive graphics I’ve seen ever in a game. The animation was stellar and in its own rights, there isn’t a game that offers the quality of graphics that this game offers. The familiar jumping style gameplay (Prince of Persia, Mirror’s Edge) is very exciting and fun at the same time being easy enough to play, but with enough challenges to annoy you when you mess up for the hundredth time. The fighting system is alot of fun once you learn how to use it.Now, the problems….thats really all there is to the whole game. Once you get past all the new concepts this game has to offer, it gets rather boring, at least for me it did. There isn’t much fighting, really and I got bored of jumping and sliding and swinging (and falling) off of things after about the 3rd hour. The story was interesting enough for me to finish the game, and I will say that, even with what I thought were flaws, this is one of the best games of the year and you definitely need to experience it yourself, because it has some amazing features to offer.
Need I say more?I’m going to have to repeat some of the reviews that others have made. The game is beautiful. The characters are clever. The game-play is fun (when it’s fresh.) But it’s incredibly easy.I’m somewhere between a casual and hardcore gamer. I pay more attention to the story than beating the game. While the story is sufficient for an enjoyable game, it’s neither DEEP nor terribly imaginative. Don’t get me wrong, it’s good, but some games are more original. While Elika is usually a smart character (in terms of AI) she does seem to get in my way a lot. This is a lesser problem.A greater one is the complete absence of enemies. I admit to only having only played a few PoP demos, but know enough to say this is ridiculous. There’s only one generic enemy per two “levels,” I suppose, and the others are bosses. They’re all easy. With the exception of The Warrior (who requires supersonic button pressing to defeat,) I beat them all within three minutes a piece.Had the potential for more.
This game deserves a 5 star. I realize a lot of people say they don’t like this game because of the platforming and repetition. Probably we could look at this game differently from all PoP series. It took some ideas from very old JRPG games – the setup, combined with new world jumping Tomb raider sort of fun and created a large open world. It’s true this game has no epic fight like GoW and such but if you have played ICO you would understand some times a heart-taking story and stylish/beautiful game does not have to involve large battles. And in fact, when I played GoWIII, all I could think of is this is cool but has it been done over and over again? Now back to this game, I loved the open world (the first ACT game with a large open world for you to explore) and lighting seeds. Yes, the lighting seeds give players a purpose to dive into the dark (and later become very bright sunny) world. Some of them are tricky to get, and once you figure out how to reach them, it’s pure joy.If you are looking for a combat focused game, this is not one for you. What shines here is the massive fantastic scenery with great color and lighting, hundred thousand feet high platforms formed ruins. The world is breathtaking sometime and I have to stop playing and simply watch. If you have great imagination and enjoy a fantasy world just similar to what FF series has created, then you will surely enjoy this game like I did.I played all five prince of Persia games and this one is my favorite.
Being a Prince of Persia fan, I have to say I loved this game with stunning visuals and a heart-warming story like all the other games of the Prince of Persia series. The only problem for me was that they made the game barely challenging, as it is almost impossible to die and the action is way toned down, due to the fact that there are no epic bosses to beat here. So, for hardcore action-adventure gamers who is heavily beat-them-up-as-you-go, this may not be you best “cup of tea”, but this is still a worthy game for young kids (as there is no blood in it), and will not regret the purchase if you are a fan of the series. This game is perfect for people who like RPG, especially if you are into games like Final Fantasy.
Great game, the graphics are good, the music too, and the gameplay is awesome, i recommend to everybody, buy this game !!!
good thing. I like the games like this and like very UBISOFT games….. Im alone and so………Im waiting the next generation of PRINCE…. buy…
the game is fun exicting and at times scary and frustating… it is pretty easy with a killer story… i would say rent it… just because it is realy easy to beat…
