I loved playing Primal Rage when i was younger and I still really like playing it. It brings back memories. Its an older game and graphics are not as good anymore, but it is still fun and will always be.

Primal Rage is a Arcade Fighting game ported to the PlayStation by Atari. The story has a apocalyptic story line as the world goes back to the Pre-Histories when a meteor hits Earth (now Urth). Seven Creatures Emerge and reek havoc on the people. Story: This game actually has a story to it. A fighting game with a story, who knew. The story is: A meteor struck the Earth, and caused great chaos. Seven gods from ancient times awoke, and are now attempting to take control of the post-apocalyptic world. These seven gods are giant dinosaurs and apes which is pretty cool. Now, as one of these crazy blood thirsty monsters, you are set out to conquer the Earth. The story is pretty good in my opinion.Gameplay: This fighting game is unlike any other fighting game you’ll ever play. I say that because you get to fight as dinosaurs and giant apes, how cool is that ? In this game you play as one of seven dinossaurs/apes (five dinosaurs and 2 apes to be exact). You can either play as Diablo, a hellish looking T-rex, Blizzard, a cold blooded killer ape, Sauron, a crazy telepathic T-rex, Talon, a crazy fast and deadly raptor, Vertigo, the poisonous long necked dino, Chaos, a crazy King kong like ape, and Armadon, a vicious crazy triceratops. Well, just like any other fighting game you got your basic moves like you got your high and low attacks. But, instead of punching and kicking like humans do, in Primal Rage you get to tail whip, bite, slash with your claws, and kick slash with your claws too. Mixing some of those moves up add up to some deadly combos. If you do these fast enough you can make your enemy brain dead for a couple of seconds which means they can’t move and it’s your chance to get more attacks on your opponent which is v.
this the best game for fighting fans. primal rage may be 2-d but it is fun.it has 7 playable chariters with 1 hidden one this is thebest game ever to fight.

It took a while to get here thanks to Nemo, but i finally got it. It even came in a Fancy box.
Before our time, giant monsters walked the Earth as gods. Somehow, for thousands of years, they were suspended in space, unable to break free. Now, a meteor strikes Earth and devastates our civilization. The continents shift into seven new masses of land. And, worst of all, the ancient gods are set loose upon the planet. They must battle to the death until there is only one left, who will become the ruler of the new Earth. You dive into this grim new world in an attampt to be that lucky one. Choose your fighter — any of seven giant monsters ready to annihilate. You must conquer each continent by destroying the god who inhabits it. After you’ve achieved world domination, there is a grand finale waiting for you with the toughest battle yet (I won’t give anything away about this, but you can be assured it’s a real mind-blower). Do you have what it takes to rule this planet and make the few humans left in it’s ruins your worshipping slaves? We’ll see about that!Primal Rage is a fighting game similar to Mortal Kombat. You battle with a side-view of both characters on the screen. Special moves and fatalities are included. And, in addition to the usual health meter, there is a smaller meter with your brain next to it. When the fliud in the bar runs out, you are flung into a daze and temporarily immobilized (this decreasing of the fluid occurs more and more when you’re getting beat up). The graphics are also very satisfying, with stop-motion animation that gives you that classic ar.
An old arcade gem. May not be as nostalgic as playing it on an old arcade cabinet, but still pretty damn fun.
