have yet to see how this works under warranty (2.5 months left to test this console out), but so far it does the job. apart from a not-so-flush closing of the CD ejector, all other parts seem to be undamaged and work as expected.-and very nice of the vendor to replace my controller for free after finding out it was heavily used and damaged

This original XBOX gaming console preceded the much more advanced and newer version, the XBOX 360 console.This original console is no longer being produced, and its’ compatible games are limited in number, and hard to find. I purchased it knowing this, but some of the games I wanted to play are not formatted in a way that can be run by the newer 360 console.The handheld controller itself is comfortable, and all of the original games play as I expected. Happy with purchase.

I never had a xbox original because I was to young and it was to expensive at the time and now that I have one I really do like it. I like how it has internal storage to save all your games something the ps2 and gamecube did not have. These things are also easy to modify since it has a x86 processor in it. Pretty happy I bought this
Purchased this unit from "Peara’s Premium Products" and overall the console works. The power cable & AV cable cords were also included with a controller & a free game. (Madden 2005)The only issue i had with the product was the controller didn’t seem to work. It wasn’t an original xbox controller, it was more of the cheap knock off ones you get at gamestop or a mom & pop video game store. The light seem to be on but when i pressed on the buttons, nothing happend. I swapped between outlets & still, it didn’t work. So in the end i gave up & just bought 2 more controllers off another shop. I didn’t lower the rating because as i got the controller for free & the unit worked fine, and everything that was included costed me a total of $71 plus shipping & tax ($82) I didn’t really mind it.Reminder: The overall state of your unit depends on your shop.
