Got the codes, a great little game, works with Vita TV as well. You can easily spend hours drumming away in this addictive rhythm game.
If you look carefully at all the other reviews the only reason they are rating it low is because there is no UMD and you have to buy off the PSN. Big deal. I will say that at times a manual to explain some things would be nice.Now to the game. This game is almost not really Patapon 2 but more like Patapon 1 redifined and expanded. There is no change in the graphics but there are significant changes to the 1st one with more classes of patapons, and more types of challanges. There are also more jujus and more materials to create your patapons from. They also incorporated an evolution tree to build your ultimate patapon (which includes not just different characteristics but now you can lvl the patapons with the materials thus increasing their strength). Therefore the base of the game is there and they simply expanded on it. They also added the hero class, which has several types of classes to choose from each with its special attack.My only major complaint is that the game should at least come with an online manual to explain the intricacies of the game.i personally do not feel it is essential to buy the first one before getting this one but will makes things easier.
I haven’t had a chance to play this one yet. I’m just writing to say that I was pleasantly surprised after opening this box to find a UMD inside. I was expecting only a game voucher as the description said, I thought no UMD’s were ever made for this game. The item was sold through retrolio by a shop, I don’t know if that has anything to do with it but I don’t care, feels like a bonus prize :-) .

I was heavily entertained by the 1st one, but this next one raises the bar on handheld music games! Everything you loved about the original is either kept in or made better. Definitely worth getting!
Yep!! The French-Japanese alliance have done it again. This is a sequel to the hit game Patapon (Well with a name like Patapon 2, it wasn’t likely to be anything to do with Final Fantasy was it :-)) To those of you who hated the graphics, bad luck, the Graphics are as weird as ever, courtesy of Rolito. The Gameplay has been improved slightly, although I must say that apart from a couple of minor changes, the Gameplay in Patapon 2 is much the same as Patapon, but then the Japanese were rather clever in that they remembered the old adage “If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”. Again the game could last you for weeks. And of course it is endlessly replayable. Of course the bad thing about this game is the same as the original Patapon in that you’ll have the tunes going around your head for weeks. In fact it’s affected me to such an affect that whenever I’m walking I get the movement song “PATA PATA PATA PON” going through my head.All in all though – Five Stars.
Patapon 2 is a major improvement over the last one, Fever can now be achieved over four commands now. You now have a new Patapon named Hero that you can change him into any form of Patapon you want. He also has different masks of power which you can get threw the multiplayer egg thing (1-4 players only). You must have the Playstation Network to get this game, you can get this at you local GameStop store for 15 bucks or at the Playstation Network for eight bucks but you need a Playstation card or credit card. You can now choose the hardness in the game and the sound witch is now a lot better so you don’t have to be a inch away without having trouble hearing. The Patapon journey lead them to a unknown island ruled by the (Karamen I think) that well stop at nothing to stop you from reaching Earth End. Your Patapons can now evolve now without trying to kill your Patapons and making them reborn again, also in Patapon 2 you don’t have to worry about losing your Patapon’s caps. A must buy for people that love adventure games, no blood games, rhythm games and action games. (Note, only for PSP)
Arrived on time and brand new
Loved playing this game when I was out in public. The drums and everything were so catchy. I had favorite stages I’d play and really get into the music <3
This game is awesome, and it came in a psp game box with the manuals and the voucher, it work’s very fine on the ps vita, so I recommend you a lot this game, sorry for my english haha
