This was my 4 yr olds 1st DS game and it is so WONDERFUL! The games are educational and fun. He can do every game on his own: coloring, letters, etc. We also have Toy Story 3 which is cool but requires a lot of help. With that said, I love helping him and using our “game time” as a fun parent-child interaction, however, when I need to work-from-home it is fun for him to sit next to me playing Noah’s Ark. This game has a great narrator and it is so easy to understand. The Noah’s Ark story is so cool – graphics are great! A+ from a loving mom.

My “go to” gift for Christmas! My niece played for hours yesterday, and it’s great to buy a something that’s educational.
My 3yo’s older brothers love their Nintendo DS, but while she has played apps on iPods and iPads, we didn’t have anything appropriate for her on the DS platform. We got this game and she has had a great time playing it! She enjoys the narrated story, and especially likes the coloring pages that come with it.She has had no problems navigating through the game to the parts she wants to play. I think this is a great game to grow with her, as there are parts (reading, for example) that she’s not quite ready for yet.She is also excited to have her own DS game that she can play on Mom’s pink DS. I look forward to seeing what else they create in this series.

I purchased this game for my 4-year old (Bday present). She is not fully coordinated to play every DS game, but I prefer to look/purchase learning toys when possible. Noah’s Ark is simply overloaded with fun,entertainment, and even teaching games.There are some interactive things while story is being read (but it’s not what makes the game). I love the fact that at 4 years old, she can play every game without help, I can play the games and actually enjoy them and feel challenged,while she also has an array of options to choose from that both teach and challenge her on her level. I know she traces the letters,but as for learning,not sure of it’s effect. I have purchased other DS games for toddlers,they do not compare, the game is old quickly and characters become out of date, no worries with Noah’s Ark.LOL
Thank you so much it was all you said and more. My four yr old grandson loves this game. It is easy to play and very interactive with much helps built in. It keeps him busy for hours. I would love to find more like this. And it arrived the next day after shipping notice.
Picked this game up at another location but wanted to write a review here because it is listed at a much lower price here for all of you. My daughter just turned 5 and her birthday present was the Nintendo DSi. She has picked out some of the more recognizable brand name games such as Pinkalicious, Petz, Dora, and Tnkerbell. I picked this one for her because of it’s Christian theme and educational games. She’s enjoyed most of the other games but this has by far become her favorite and keeps her entertained for a long while. Also parents, this game has verbal instructions so you don’t have to keep reading the instructions to your child, something that makes it impossible to do when your trying to pay attention to your driving!! Just an FYI, your child needs to listen to the story (and can interact on the picture pages during the story) BEFORE the games come up.
