This is an awesome game. The fact that it is challenging only makes it more fun to play. The cons that I found with the game were the camera and the location of the save points. But overall the game is so good that the flaws aren’t very noticeable.
PROS:- Very long adventure (19 chapters)- Good resolution (1080 p)- Good fidelity to the original (NES)- A lot of different bosses (helicopter, monsters, dragons, warriors, etc.)- Different kind of enemies (ninjas, soldiers, machines, monsters, zombies, etc.)CONS:- Few scenarios (city 80%, air balloon 10%, village 10%)- Some movements very hard (running through walls, acrobatic movements)
This game was definitely worth the $10.00 I payed for it…hell its worth $50. A great challenge for the hardcore action gamers that offers true feelings of accomplishment for every enemy you kill. Pick it up, its not one to miss.
Great item, great conditions
What can you say, its one of the most famous series in the history of gaming. Shame they dropped the ball with later titles, especially part 3 was was atrocious. That just makes this game more classic and priceless. Simple to the point fighting system and story.
Let me start off by saying, I had Ninja Gaiden for the original XBOX and boy was it tough. I finished it with an unparalleled sense of pride (well as much as one can derive from beating a video game.Cut to years later and they release NG Sigma for the PS3 to rave reviews. Ninja Gaiden who’s already stellar graphics have been updated and new content (including new playable character, and enemies) added. If you think this game is hard, go back to playing Brats Makeover Party or Mary Kay and Ashley. I’m not a hardcore gamer, but I do enjoy challenges, and the original xbox NG had that in spades. It was a grind, a fun grind, but a grind nonetheless. So years after this game was released I (being a 360 owner) get myself a PS3 and pick this bad boy up.Graphics: Still Stellar. I think NG1 had borderline Next Gen Graphics. This game is gorgeous and runs like a swiss watchGameplay: Fun as ever, new weapons add to the mix. The new playable character, Rachel, isn’t as fun, but her missions are thankfully short and add to the story.Camera: As crappy as ever, but still workableDifficulty: Easy. like I said I ground through the original, in comparison this one I walked through. The bosses were pushovers and the extra save points were a huge improvement. That’s not to say it’s so easy it’s not a challenge, but it’s easy enough for even casual gamers to playBig Biggest complaints are:(1) Still crappy camera(2) Can’t un-equip the Talisman of Rebirth, annoying, if you die stupidly you have to re.
I was looking for a cheap game to buy with my ps3…..and i brought ninja gaiden sigma. the graphics are good….nice storyline…it isn’t as short as heavenly sword…..and it is very demanding where technique is needed to beat this game!although a old game….ITS REALLY ENJOYABLE!!
The fact that this came to the ps3 it should be given a 5 star! Awesome game with action packed moves and slaying of enemies! It really makes you feel like a master assasin!
I have an Xbox 360 and a PS3. I find the controllers of the PS3 to be child size so I only buy exclusive titles for the PS3. If Ninja Gaiden Sigma was on Xbox I would have bought that version, but it is not. Ninja Gaiden Sigma has been a lot of fun. The character movements are smooth, the graphics are fine and if you enjoy a good puzzle you like this. There is a lot of back and forth. The developer uses the maps sometimes more than twice but don’t think your getting repeat game play. Overall I really, really like this game. There’s my 2 cents.
This game is pretty fun. There is however, little “greatness” about it. It is VERY hard, which is nice since most games today seem designed to be beaten. It is very fast paced, making you run, jump, flip, and cut your way out of danger. However, it just doesn’t offer anything beyond action. If you like a strictly action packed beat ’em up, this is totally your game, if you like depth and strategy, maybe not so much. It is fun, and has great visuals, it just doesn’t exactly have much more to offer. I would have enjoyed it if the enemies didnt automatically know where you are, you cannot sneak at all, and in fact YOU are more often than not ambushed from opponents falling from the sky or teleporting out of the ground.
