Nba live 2002 looks really good, I think any body that likes basketball should get this game I think this game is good enough that you could trade in nba street and nba live 2001 for this(if you have) Nba live 2002 has all new modes including create your own team this should be on your upcomming game list.
This is the best basketball game I have ever played. This game has great graphics and great playability. The create a player mode is great. The season mode is awesome and you can set up all of the options you want. The game looks so life like you think you are there. It also has great camera angles. The replays might be the best part of the game with all the different camera angles. I would suggest this game to anyone who likes great basketball games.

This game is the best basketball game to come out this year. It is true to the real NBA games in every way, from realistic rules to making sure that trades are fair. If you liked the other NBA live games, you’ll love this one. In NBA Live 2002, you are able to give created players new features, such as headbands, wristbands, and real shoes such as Allen Iverson’s Answer IV and Answer V. On top of all that, this year EA added a whole mess of new dunks, and the rosters are all updated. You can keep them recent by making trades that happen in real life, and in Franchise mode, you can manage your favorite team and lead them through years of NBA championships.
Simply breathtaking. You just have to play it, really. The developers really stepped up the game play this year. The graphics are better than any sports game on PS2, including NBA Street. The players have their signature shoes, REAL tattoos,even their own demeanor. Rasheed Wallace bickered with the ref 3 times in one exhibition game! The franchise mode makes for extended game play. There is even a NBA Lottery with HS and college playas! Must have, must have.

I really like all the graphics in the game,i also like the faces of the players glad u can actually see em now.what i really enjoy is that jordan is in it,he is my fave player no matter he chooses 2 play 4.EA did a good job i dont know why people give this game bad marks,they are just totally wrong this game is the best basketball game i ever played.glad i recieved this as a gift,there is nothing more i could have asked 4
Old but son likes old games
I just got done playing my first game for NBA Live 2002. I can say it was definately worth paying the $50 for, but there could be a few improvements. Superstar level is really really tough and the sound effects could be improved a little bit. It could be a little bit smoother like NBA Street was. The announcers are still a little dry–it could be time for a couple of different people to call the games. Other than those few things, everything else is great. The game play is smooth and the graphics are unreal. I do suggest that any sports fan with a PS2 or X Box should make this a part of their collection.
