This game is really cool to play, especially if your into solving mysteries. It can be really scary for some teenagers to play this. I hate the demons on it. Gives me night mares.
This game has turned into one of my favorite PS3 titles, top 25 easily. It has a very original concept and likeable characters.If you liked L.A. Noire and The Last of Us, you may like this. Though this game is much shorter, and doesn’t have near the amount of open world or characters.It starts off a little slow and has a learning curve to it, but then it gets really excellent. The writing, voiceover, and graphics are all excellent.The game has a very dark atmosphere and story to go along with it. Gameplay is an amalgamation of puzzle solving, semi open world, linear story lines, and a little action-adventure.My complaints are that it is too short, and could be more difficult. I also don’t see myself ever playing it again. It is too linear to have much replay value.

Great murder mystery game. Kept me intrigued the whole time.
Finished the game in what felt like 5 hours or so.The story was great. I thought the game had some decent writing, decent voice acting and an intriguing plot. Basically you are a murdered detective with a shady past, and you hunt down your own killer from the afterlife, who turns out to be a serial murdered named the Bell Killer.The story is solid, and only got better as it went, and it takes a few twists and turns and involves witchcraft in the city of Salem, Massachusetts. There are really two main characters, your character, and a young psychic medium named Joy, who is sassy and also voiced very well.So the story, at least for me, was stellar and the ending was quite good too. I loved it, and felt a sense of completion after I finished the game…. but…———Getting to the end, well, that was a different story… The investigation sequences are very easy, and require very little brainpower at all. Even if you get a clue wrong, or misinterpret something, there isn’t a penalty if you keep guessing, so there shouldn’t be any problems here.My issues came with the “stealth” gameplay which involved sneaking up behind demons and killing them with QT controls. In an attempt to add action to the game, Murdered really becomes an exercise in tedium and frustration in certain gameplay sequences. Run up behind a demon, and your QT controls may not work for whatever reason. Hide, and a demon may find you regardless, but use the same hiding space the next time and the demon may not.

I absolutely loved this game! I though the story was so well-written, and I though Sebastian was a great character to play. I thought I knew the answer to the big mysteries, but I was proven wrong in the end – the sign of a great game. Graphics weren’t top-of-the-line, but I find that forgivable in games I find exceptional. Game play was good, except for a few glitches here and there. That’s the only reason I am giving it 4-stars. I wish that Square Enix had put the time and effort into making it glitch-free. The only other *minor* complaint I had was I wish after you visited a part in town, it marked it on a map or something. It sometimes became slightly difficult to find locations. Other than that, it was a fantastic game to play.This is a third person game, and I played it on the PS 3. Difficulty level was not too bad at all. I was able to get past most parts and solve most puzzles. I only had to look up one thing on the computer, and it was only because I couldn’t figure out how to get from one room to the other (I can’t elaborate to keep this spoiler-free). I think I only died a small handful of times. Overall, great game and highly recommended to fans of games like Heavy Rain and LA Noire.

This game is so much fun! It’s great for anyone who likes mystery style games. My only complaint is that I wish it had been longer!!!
Came quicker than one thought! I bought it brand new for me big sister and it was actually $20 cheaper than at places like Target and Best Buy! This was a steal and it is a quality item!!! I haven’t opened it because it’s her Christmas present, but she’s talked about it for months so here it is lol! Anyways, I’m pleased with this game so far!!! :)
