The console is very sturdy and well built, its been able to play the games that I own now perfectly (Mario all stars, f-zero, goof troop, and final fantasy mystic quest) the battery life is excellent (compared to my Nintendo 3ds) but I can do away with the cheap smell of plastic.
I have only played it in handheld mode to test it out before wrapping it for a gift, let me say: it brought me back 20 years! I plugged in Solar Jetman (one of my favorites) and it was like being 15 again. I can’t wait to plug in SNES classics like Zelda and see it on the big screen with controllers in my hand! I knew there was a reason I held on to my old titles. Well worth the money if you love your old titles.
LOVE LOVE LOVE this! I got it as a Christmas gift for my boyfriend. At first, since he got a Wii U from his parents, he never took it out of the box. But me being a gamer myself I began playing it and was having a blast. He then saw me having a good time and started pulling out his old Mega Man, Super Mario Kart, etc games and was having a good time. Great gift!

This is one of the coolest gaming systems I own. It plays nintendo, super nintendo and gameboy if you have the right SNES cartridge
The first one I received didn’t work, but the return process worked well and was pretty quick. I ordered a new one and it works fine. I love playing these retro games, anywhere! You still have to blow on the cartridges to get the dust out so it works, but it runs like the old systems. It also holds a charge for a good amount of time, though I haven’t run it out yet. I’d say it lasts a few hours. Overall, I’m happy with it. I just had to deduct a star since the first one I ordered didn’t work.
Excellent! Works as promised. Very well build and it’s a real treat to go back and play those old cartridges. Picture resolution is very good.
This product gets a 5 star rating because, it’s SNES in the palm of your hands! It comes with: charging cord, A/V cord(red, white, yellow), 2nd controller adapter, NES adapter that allows NES cartridges to be played(I haven’t tried yet). The cartridge pictured contains 110 SNES classics. Battery life lasts quite awhile, so it turns long, boring car trips into short, fun trips. I am super pleased with this purchase!
Only down side I have to this, is with the adapters for Genesis and NES, it is comically tall. Like balancing the entire Sega "tower of power" in your hand. Another small quirk is that the volume adjustment is very sensitive, a small tap on the slider will take it from silence to "I hope that didn’t wake up the kids". With a light touch, you can get it where you want.Other than that, the emulation is spot on and the battery life is great (I have yet to run it out). The buttons are very response and I have had no issues. The screen is nice and bright, although with Genesis games, a little harder to read. The screen size is a little on the small size coming from a smart phone, but large enough. The device is very comfortable to hold for long periods (SNES games), and is great for old RPGs.For SNES this device is pretty much as good as it gets to play the real carts on the go. Complete FF4 (US) beginning to end with no issues. As a 40+ gamer, I love the looks I get from the kids when they see me playing this thing.
I got this as a gift for my boyfriend. He was overjoyed and has since went on to say that it is the single best gift he every received. The battery lasts for several hours and does not, in his experience, over heat. It has played every game put in it, including the japanese version which has a slightly different case. I will definitely be getting one for myself soon. Absolutely love it. If you are looking for that perfect gift in your gamers life get this.
