Bought this because I enjoyed the game when I had PlayStation.
Great game but I still like the original better. There are some new levels of play and others seem like they just changed the skins on the original. Over all I recommend it, especially if you’re a big MOH fan. It gets a little creepy with some sort of wolf men which is were you may stat to loose interest because it takes away from the real historical parts of the story and gives it a cheesy ending
This is a crazy good sequel to a crazy good game! It doesn’t veer away from what made the first MOH great it more or less just builds on it. This game is more intense, with more action and Bigger and badder missions! I must admit though the bonus levels are fun but absolutely ridiculous! You’ll see when you get there….YEASH! haha!
Great game fun to play with a friend on split screen will do business again great prices
Everyone who liked Medal of Honor must buy this games. Underground is even better. More powerful weapons, bigger levels and the enemies are acting more real then in the first MoH. Medal of Honor Undergound is awesome!
Medal of Honor: Underground is the second Medal of Honor game ever made. It was released for the Sony Playstation in 2000. While I believe certain things were changed for the worse and really don’t think it’s as good of a game overall compared to the original, it’s a pretty awesome game anyway.Right from the very beginning of the game I notice the storyline is becoming more of a focus than ever before. In the last game, you had the occasional cutscenes showing actual war footage from World War II, and in between were explanations from your female friend giving you important advice on exactly what you needed to do in order to complete the stages. In this game, you ARE that female friend from the last game, going around doing lots of soldier shooting and completing objectives. So your playable character is someone else. Right there is an indication to me that the series is making small storyline progression steps. Okay, not a HUGE deal or anything. Before starting the game, you’ll notice in the Options menu there’s a difficulty setting. The game automatically has it set to Easy, and believe me, once you start the game you’ll see why. The stages are pretty tough and easy mode is the correct difficulty for a first-time playthrough. To be completely honest, even on Easy mode this game is probably just as difficult as the last one, maybe even harder. The first few stages feature guards that are probably just as tough as they were in stages 10 and 11 from the previous Meda.
I remember how hard it was to find a GOOD first person shooter for the PSX (of course, the PS2 has tons of them) and finally comming upon this one. I was impressed immediately. The graphics were well done and the AI, while eventually becomming slightly predictable, was reasonable and well designed. The levels are intricate, but generally linear. I would have liked to be able to open more doors other than the absolutely necessary ones. The storyline is intricate, taking you through almost every stage of WWII up to and including the Liberation of France and the fall of Hitler. Complete with about a half hour (estimated) of real WWII footage, the mission briefings come to life like never before. The weapons are all real WWII weapons; everything from the Panzerfaust, to the Stick Handgrenade, to the SMG 40.The reason it is at a four star rating and not a five is because of several bugs throughout the game. Many missions can be completed cheaply by tricking the AI through walls (or sometimes even shooting through walls) or hiding behind other guards. Another VERY annoying problem is that your character gets stuck on walls. It is impossible to slide along the side of a wall without getting jerked around. All in all however, a very well designed game; best FPS for the PSX.
shop performed excellent ….the product was great and a good deal ! …we are very happy.
The fight continues! as you now take control of the French rebel named Manon. This sequel to the original "Medal of Honor" takes everything that made the original great and makes it even Greater!I have to admit, at the beginning I had some problems with the control layout…especially when every single game I played before this one had me using the "X" button to jump…and then MOHU required for me to jump with the "Triangle" button (Back then I did not knew I could change the control layout) so I stuck with that… but after a while I got used to it, and I actually started enjoying the game more. The gameplay is good. The fact that the game throws tanks and even dogs at you is fascinating. It makes it challenging.I remember when I played the level of the "Valhalla Castle". The suspense you experience when you don’t know if one of those creepy "Shielded Knights" is waiting for you the next corner.Or when you play as a "photographer" and the Nazis pose for you..that was jut funny. The choice of weapons is great too. I loved (and was also really good too) throwing those Hand stick grenades at the soldiers. I liked the damages that caused to the nearby soldiers. Also, there was a lot of variation. compared to the first game, in therms of gameplay. This game even featured a bike chase sequence. The variation in locations was also very welcomed.I have to say that the strongest reason of why I loved this game was because of the great sound.
While the graphics leave a little more room for improvement, the actual game is great. Real guns, believable missions, and damage, a true old war person would love this game. Although the last bonus level is a little on the lame side, but that doesn’t hardly dent the shiny finish on the game. Sound is also great. Sets the right moods for every part. Voices are good too. This is a great game, plain, pure, and simple.
