I’m running this game on an Alienware computer which meets all the minimum requirements for the game. What I have in the computer far exceeds what the game requires. It runs choppy but that must be a trait with Ubisoft. The game is a great idea though. I’m a big fan of the show and that’s why I bought the game.
Really fun and interesting. I had a little bit of trouble getting it to work on my new laptop. not sure if it’s a windows 7 thing or not, but when I tried it on my older laptop it worked fine.
This is my 1st First Person Shooter game. Never thought I could do it before, & for a newbie it’s challenging but fun – more so for a LOST fan, like me, probably. Paid very little for the game, so expected WAY less than I got in terms of challenge, graphics, etc. Main issues: (1) No option to SAVE at any given point. (2) Some fuzziness as to the concept of exactly what my character is supposed to be doing. (I am using an on-line walk-through to help me out.) Item #2, admittedly, might be a function of my being new at this genre. Item #1 is just a problem with the game — it saves at points IT decides to save ONLY. However, overall fun game, good for learning FPS, and my husband who is a long-time gamer enjoys it, too. Don’t NOT buy it just because you have experience with FPS. It’s sure worth the $$ — especially for a LOST fan — but probably for anyone. PS – Works just great on Windows 7.
Now I’ve given this game an alright score, but there is reasoning as to why I have a love and hate relationship with this game. You must understand that I too am a lost addict so I bought this game out of principle. I want to warn some of the other fans and prepare them for what to expect and how they should look at the game to maximize their experience as well as to clue in the average gamer about this product.John Locke is a grand character and his spirit is indomitable, he’s always telling people “Don’t tell me what I can’t do”; however, for this game I have to tell him something he can’t do and thats sound authentic. The voices of some of the characters like Sayid, Sawyer, John, and Charlie and all very offsetting to your average lost Fans. A plus is that there are some original voices like Benjamin, Julia, Claire, and Desmond, but those people you talk to maybe once. Along with the off voices the text is very short, but the lines seem like they’d come out of the series.”We’re all on this island for a reason” As John Locke says and he is a firm believer of “All things for a reason”. Now I bring that up because this game is notoriously linear not really allowing for free exploration in the levels and to top it off you don’t get much time to dawdle before you’re sent off through another 2-5 loading screens to progress the story. The reason it’s all like this is because this game was made for the console systems and merely imported to PC.Now the game itself allows for shallo.
Even during the pandemic, shop shipped item very quickly. Item was perfect, arrived quickly, and fun as hell if you’re a Lost fan! Also, it’s for OS Win Vista/7, but with a bit of tinkering, it CAN be played on Win 10. Just may have to install it 2 or 3 times to get over a couple error humps, but it doesn’t take too long
This game is a good game, considering it is based off a brilliant TV show. Overall, it has good controls and great graphics. You can interact with key survivors, but some are left out. For example, Charlie is shown in video segments, but not in the actual gameplay. Sayid is mentioned but has not yet made an apperence. So far in my progress, neither Boone or Shannon have shown themselves. I have not seen Jin yet, which is weird because Sun is there. Sawyer dosen’t show up until the second episode. Sawyer is also very funny. If your that kind of person that looks at the little things, survivors with longer hair need some extra hair touch up. There are some things, mainly controls and actions, that need further explaining. For example, I had no idea how to run or light a torch until i searched it on Google. Other than those minor things, this was a great game. 4,8,15,16,23,42.
What a great game for fans of lost.
Despite long load times between scenes, this game is terrific and captures the eeriness of the television series perfectly. The authors wisely chose a new story line, with a couple of new characters around which the game is built. The primary character interacts with the people we know so well–Jack, Kate, Sawyer, Locke, and Hurley. Michael, Jin, and Sun also play small “roles” in the game. All the characters do and say the things they would, in the actors’ voices, in each situation. You’re treated to a first-hand experience of the Smoke Monster, too. It’s like an immersion experience in the world of Lost. The timing of the game is concurrent with the second season and some of the third. No romance between Kate and Sawyer, which I missed, but the game was sufficiently captivating to offset that minor loss. What I like best is that like the characters we’ve come to love, the new characters central to the game are flawed and very human. There’s even some character development during the game that makes the mind-boggling ending believable and just right.Hats off to the development team. If you’re up for creating a sequel, count me in! In the meantime, I’ll hone my skills with the Smoke Monster.
Flight 815, from Sydney on route to LA, a thousand miles off course, broke in half in mid-flight and has just crashed. You are Elliot, one of the lucky(?) survivors (a new character, not one of the series regulars), a photojournalist who finds himself stranded onto a mysterious pacific island – and struggling with amnesia. So, when your fellow passengers suspect you of being one of the Others, you cannot offer much of a counterargument, can you? Nevertheless, at least one of them seems to know you enough to keep trying to kill you. So, in order to survive, your aim is to reawaken your memories and find out who you are.As Lock might have put it: “the Island wants you to find your true self again”.Story-wise, the game is placed between the 2nd and 3rd seasons – so it could be argued that it was delayed, as a November-release would make much more sense. The game runs for 7 “episodes”, each with about the length of an actual episode (and each introduced with the familiar “previously on LOST” segment). So, overall, expect a 8-10 hours gameplay of mostly puzzle-solving, item-bargaining and clue-gathering adventure, with a number of fast-paced action moments sprinkled here and there. The game holds neither surprises nor easter eggs: it runs in a pretty linear fashion and if expecting any LOST-mythology revelations (or pointers, or even hints), well…you will be left waiting longer than Russo. At least I failed to discern any new insights. I guess the writers did not want to make the.
I’m a huge LOST fan and I was completely bummed when the show ended. I’ve been re-watching the series on Netflix, and I’m falling in love with it all over again. I just got the idea to buy the game a few weeks ago and I absolutely love it. I have the PC version, and I don’t know how it is for other gaming systems, but I enjoy it!
