These are practical knives but don’t hold an edge for long easy to clean up though

Great set, zero problems with anything yet. Sharp, cut very nice, easy on your grip. I have processed 3 whitetail with this set so far this season, worked awesome…Make sure to get the orange handle set if you will use for field dressing. Just advice from a past experience, and if your kids will also be using them, hahaha…Kids….
This is a birthday present for my son, who has hunted since he was a child. He’s been wanting to butcher the deer himself-this will assist him. I gave it to him today and he seemed to genuinely like this set. Thanks.
Haven’t had a chance to use on a buck. With that being said the knifes are sharp and the sharpener is great.
nice set of knives, cleaned a wild pig the first night i had them. these knives say sharp through the entire process… clean up is also a breeze. this is most certainly a great starter set of knifes for yourself or any outdoor guy and gal you know.
Bought this as a gift for my brother and he loves it. Nice and easy to through into the pack before going hunting and everything stays organized. Quality of the blades are surprising good, very sharp and durable.
Knives aren’t super sharp right out of the box, but using the included sharpener they become nearly razor sharp. my only complaints are that the instructions direct you to pass the knives through the sharpener in an awkward fashion. The first time I used it this way it made me quite nervous. I am now used to it however, but sometimes it still makes me nervous based on how sharp these knives come out of the sharpener.Also the bone saw wasn’t as sharp as I’d like it to be.
