I went into this game thinking that it was gonna be just a devil may cry rip off with a different visual style but it turned out being so much more. The visual style alone makes the game worthy of consideration, but the combat system is actually pretty fluid. Within minutes of popping it into my Xbox360, I was entranced by it. The only downside is that there really isn’t that much to do in it. There’s only a couple dozen missions and three of them are basically a mini game to bang the girls of the game. True to Suda51 though, this game should be something people play.
I never played Killer 7 or either of the No More Heroes games, but I really enjoyed Suda51’s “Lollipop Chainsaw” and “Shadows of the Damned” (the latter of which may be more Shinji Mikami than Suda51). So I’ve been looking forward to “Killer is Dead” for several months. One big plus is that it comes in a collectible box with a soundtrack and art book, for the same price as many other games that can’t even be bothered to include as much as a real manual in the case these days. It’s definitely a collection-worthy set. This is a third-person action game with combos to learn and upgrade, sub-weapons (amounting to various guns, plus a drill) to earn and upgrade, and various skills to improve. The combat here doesn’t disappoint. In some games — I’m looking at you, Meal Gear Rising — the combat just doesn’t seem to make much sense, and seems to depend more on wild button mashing and luck than any actual skill and understanding of how the systems work. What I like about Killer is Dead — which was true in Lollipop Chainsaw as well — is that the combos make sense. The game offers meaningful prompts, there is a good variety, and skill as a player actually improves. The upgrades help too, making things easier in challenges and replays. There are three kinds of missions: story missions (12 of them), challenge missions (which are unlocked by finding Nurse Scarlett hidden multiple times in some of the levels, and challenge you to defeat enemies in a certain way — without losing health, or.
Fantastic game from one of the better developers/directors left in the industry. The gameplay feels great and the upgrad path is balanced very well for your first playthrough of the game. This game has A very different art style which is nice to see. If you like character action or "hack and slash" games, pick this up. Most places still have the launch copy with art book, DLC, and soundtrack. Definitely worth the money.
If you enjoy Suda 51 games you should enjoy Killer is Dead. It’s his best looking game, and the look of his games is often just as important as the gameplay. His style is the substance here. The combat mechanics are the most refined of any of his games. The story is crazy but it’s not Killer 7 level of crazy. It’s actually somewhere in between No More Heroes and Killer 7. I’m not saying all Suda 51 fans will like the game equally, but if you have enjoyed his games in the past there is a good chance this will entertain you.
Excelent game! If you have Xbox 360/One you should try it! It’s a little short but the gameplay is pretty cool.

Fun. Works like normal . No issues. Thanks.
Killer is Dead has some uneven but fun combat, a unique art style, and a pretty convoluted plot surrounding the moon, assassinations, and love. I’ve always appreciated Grasshopper’s games for being different from the norm, but this time around, SUDA51 has made something that is one of his weirdest works to date. One that definitely won’t be for everyone, but one that is entertaining no less; despite being incredibly hard to follow.
Este juego es fantástico. Es un si o si tenerlo en la colección, ademas todo el extra que incluye, el sountrack y el libro de arte. Ademas de eso un excelente precio.el paquete llego en un buen estado, 5 dÃas antes de lo esperado.
This game is really fun! Sure, the story makes no sense and it’s relatively short – but there’s variety in the gameplay, the music and graphics are great, and honestly… it’s just fun. Second only to Lollipop Chainsaw, this is my favorite Suda game. It has a great sense of humor and the leveling up and moves are dynamic and interesting enough to keep you playing.
