what an adorable little game! i have always loved the Katamari series and this is another one to add to my amazing collection! rolling things up is the goal and not getting laser eyes from the king is a big plus! i am still not very good at this simple ‘e for everyone’ game but it is entertaining, none the less.
I had a katamari game on the PlayStation 2 that was an absolute blast, this game is no exception. crazy Japanese cut scenes. a sarcastic funny king and you get to roll up crap and even people.This game is almost impossible to explain its just something you have to try but if you love platform-ish puzzle-ish games then you have to have this in your collection. the songs will embed themselves into your head and you find your self humming them randomly.MC
This is a very enjoyable and unique game. I really like the art style and the music in the game is excellent. It even features a mode where you can just listen to the tracks without playing a level.Highly recommended at this price point for under 20 bucks!!
Gift for my son.
If you even like Katamari a little then you should buy this. If you go through the entire game in all modes you can spend days-weeks on it. I’ve played them all; and while they re-use the levels, it’s definitely "shinier" and feels much more fluid. Just buy it.
A unique, additive game, good for hours of interesting fun. The only real annoyance is the in-game camera often causing your view to be blocked.
Fun classic game. Any ate group can enjoy it. We play it and our toddler plays it. It’s fun to roll around and collect things.
The story line doesn’t make sense… but it never has. Same controls, same functions, same song that gets stuck in your head. Nananananananana…. KATAMARI DAMACY! I’ve always liked this game, because it is pretty mindless and a good way to relax. Plus you can put on a hat that looks like a giraffe.
I had Katamari Damacy for PS2 in a box and hadn’t played in forever. I pulled it out only to find on my new TV it would only play black/white/graney. Boo. So I sold that and used the money to buy this game. such a good idea!!This game hasn’t changed at all in all the best ways. It has better levels, more interesting challenges, and new set up. But the same game play, idea, and execution. Love it!! So so happy with my purchase.
If you buy one katamari game get this one,it has stages from all the previous games and tons of extra modes.
