I gave this to my daughter for her 7th birthday and the whole family has been engaged in the game. It has offered many hours of entertainment and fun.
We bought this for our boy, and I decided to try it to see what it was like after I watched him play it a bit. It’s not what you’d expect at all. I thought it was just dragon fighting and that he wouldn’t like it, but he wanted it. It is dragon fighting, but you have tons of quests to do between fights. You choose when to fight. Unlock dragons, play again each other with your own dragon or with a standard version. You have to train to unlock moves. It’s really far more complicated than you would think for a child’s game. Let’s just say I spent hours training a dragon, and learning how to do it. He beat me. And I mean beat me bad! This is something you can play with your kid and really enjoy it! I give it five because-that graphics are better than some high priced games. It’s a child’s game an adult can play without going crazy. It’s challenging.
Game looks great, fun at first, but to train and take care of the dragon is a little challanging for a 6 year old. Overall it’s still a fun game.
I was quite interested in playing this video just because of the reviews; however, there is so much repetition in doing the same battles over and over to get your dragons increased strength throughout the game. My son played the game and needed assistance with what event or activity to do next; so not great for someone 8 or under.
This is a well done cartoon movie about dragons and their viking friends.
One of the best movie to game productions….EVER! If you haven’t even seen the movie you will find this game thoroughly enjoyable! It’ll make you want to watch the movie if you haven’t. It’ll make you want to watch the movie again if you have already!
