The boy has been playing this and sometimes even I get to have a go when the ‘Boss’ is a bit to hard for him.
This is a game which from the bottom of my heart I would recommend if you were a fan of the show. And ONLY if you were a fan of the show. This is because the game offers very fun combat situations and little puzzle content (Thank god because it kept the awesome pace of the game to be a butt kicking adventure). And the game allows players to access and explore all areas shown during season 2 of the show. As well as fun collectibles being added to add to the fan base of the show and to add repeatability. The game and all its fun features were designed for people who are fans of the show. If you are not a fan you will probably not enjoy the game much as it is intended to let people know what it is like to be Rex.This game succeeds in everything it tried to be which is a fun game for children who enjoyed the show as the story is relevant, the controls are simple and the game through every level although maybe short was incredibly fun to “pound some evos” however you liked using full access to Rex’s arsenal of powers.
I brought this expecting it to be pretty bad but its actually quite good, it handles like the new DMC game, it has quick time events in it, the gameplay is okay apart from the dodging can be a bit terrible at times, also the story seems a tad bad.
Keeps the grandchildren quiet for hours so thoroughly recommend it and quite suitable for age group works for me and him
