However, that’s also part of the charm. This seems to be the only game in existence with a Monty Carlo SS in it, and that… really makes me sad. That also makes this the only game ever to have a Monty Carlo SS be able to beat a Corvette and a 2005 Ford GT! It’s very arcady, more so than most arcade racers in arcades now a days, but honestly I like that about it. Arcade racers are a charm that just mostly vanished awhile ago, not that racing games really ever had much of a genre pull, they’re still fun and usually don’t require a ton of skill to master like some Forza/Grand Tourismo tack racing game. The videos in it are probably some of the worst I’ve ever seen, so much that I can only wonder if they made the videos in some forgotten country while hiring some unknown southren company to do the voice acting, which would actually be decent, if the lines used weren’t so awful. As a game, I give this 2 stars for horrid menus, painfully bad videos, a very confusing story mode, and for using a lot of PS1 era rendering tricks that when compared to the same year released NFS: Underground, make this game just seem very cheap. Honestly, I can’t even say it looks better than Midnight Club 2, because they use about the same amount of cheaper tricks but MC2 had better light shaders, and that was a 2003 game! This also came to me new, from what I could tell. I haven’t unwrapped a original Xbox game in, oh geeze, a very long time! It felt almost sinful, but nothing is better than that joy o.
ford vs chevy two car companies that have been going against each other for about 100 years. this is real fun playing against my brother.
Ford vs Chevy was a Christmas present for a young man with autism. He told me that he plays it often and enjoys it very much. For him, this was an explosion of emotion, thus the video game is a home run.
Muy buen juego, especialmente para las personas que no poseen mucha destreza y/o experiencia en simuladores de coches (niños pequeños y esposas).
good
I read alot of poor reviews about this game on other sites and I disagree. The graphics are good and the framerate is very smooth…hardly any slowdown at all during the race. It is about having fun racing Fords against Chevys (both classic and modern ones). You can choose to view from third-person to the behind-the-hood view (my favorite). You also have a button for turbo boost, similar to the Burnout series. Handling is very tight and as you go faster…there is a slight blur effect around the edge of your screen for that extra speed feeling. You can upgrade your parts and race against a friend in split-screen or online. This game even has voice commentary with a little touch of humor. The only thing that dissappointed me was the fact that there was no custom soundtrack option. Other than that this game is fun and worth buying.
the nephew loves it.
