good easy to play old school game
Ight Yo’s….Dis Be a tight ass game fo realz, even tho thurr is sum flaws in dis game. First off, they missing sum big boxing names like, Jesus Chavez, George Foreman, Iron Mike Tyson, Dat Kilo dude (tha one who beat Lewis Last Year) and Oscar De La Hoya ( Wanna Beat Tha Crap Out Dat Fool). Be Sides Dat, Awsome Graphics, More Than Decent Boxers On Tha Roster, AND DA MUSIC…..Dont Hate Tha Hip Hop ( And Ya Kno WHo YA ARe)…u got I-20, Chingy, David Banner, Lil Jon and ect. Tha Career Mode i would give a 6, they could of add more to it instead of traing only 1 of 4 mini games b4 a match. But Over ALL Dis Game Is Sum Pimp $h1t…….And To Unlock Big Tigger, Go To My Corner, Record Book, Then Go To Most Wins Boxer and Preaa Up Twice And Bam……
This game is really good. The controls are tricky because you have to punch with the right analog stick, but you can change to the regualr buttons, thats what I did. There are a few negatives with this game. The training and buying accessories are my biggest two. After you have a 100 rating in your all of your stats theres no point to training anymore. It would be more realistic is your stats went up or down with each fight, but they dont. Also when you buy new items at the store, theres really no point to it. They should have made it like in Tiger Woods Golf where certain accessories give you better stats. Another negative is in career mode, after you have faught for a while a window pops up and tells you that you have to retire. Theres nothing you can do about it and you just have to start over with a new boxer. One last negative is the announcer. He can get really annoying saying the same things over and over. They try to make him “urban” and “hip” but its pretty lame. I also like to turn the music off cause it sucks. All in all this is a really good game. The graphics are really good and you have a lot of control over your boxer (blocking from different angles/bobbing and weaving). It’s a great game if you love fighting games or any sports games.
——————————————————————————– I think it is by far the best boxing game out there. Still though, I have a lot of things that could be changed.I played my brother who is almost as good as me, I was Byrd, h
This game is frakin awsome. The knockouts are wicked awsome and the graphics are great. Using the analog controls to punch is very hartd to do. But all you have to do is go to the controler configuration and change it so you can pub=nch with the buttons. i f in love this game. I definatly recomend this game to anyone and everyone. I love you. Bye.
this is a great order and easy to use. & the S&H is fast . I enjoy using it. thanks
the people who rated this game rated it on the music in the game. if you dont like the music it doesnt make the game suck does it? no! This game is the best graphic boxing game i have ever seen. They have many pro boxers to choose from and i think the game is very realistic. so for everyone that reads the other peoples reviews dont listen to them becuase this is a great game.
This game is A+. By far, the best boxing game out and I’ve played them all. Don’t be scared by the total punch control. It takes all but an hour or two to get a feel for it and it is so much more rewarding than button mashing your buttons so that you need a new controller every month.Career mode is indepth. You start out with 4 fights a year, then down to 3 and so on until retirement. You have your choice of opponents and in some cases you will be presented the opportunity to schedule a fight against someone that is much higher ranked or lower ranked than you. Purses are realistic and increase as your ranking improves. The level of realistic difficulty is back and so is strategy. No more automatic first round KO’s by going in and just punching non stop. If you try to do that here, you’ll find yourself out of steam quick and needing to recharge and block punches to regain it. This game is not easily mastered overnight like Knockout Kings, or HBO boxing.Use your money earned to buy different clothing, equipment, entrance gimmicks liky pyrotechnics, entourage (women in skimpy clothing that lead you into the ring). There is so much to this game. Before each fight, you will schedule a bout first. Next, you train. There are 4 different rotating training sessions.1. Heavy Bag2. Sparring3. Combo Dummy4. Hitting the MittsYou will only be allowed to do one per fight and depending on your success…you will be given attribution points to improve your fighter. Note: Each se.
great
By far the best boxing game I have ever played. (…) The emphasis on defense and not having to push buttons to punch (no more blisters!)makes this game far superior to anything since the old school ‘Ring King’ on ATARI. If you want a genuine boxing experience…check this out!
