The game is great for xbox original but sad to see that it can’t play in the 360 because of the fact that there was no sequel on 360 towards it.

This game tends to really evoke strong feelings of hate or enjoyment from gamers at large. The hardcore Fallout Veterans, the ones who have been there since the beginning, may not be able to handle the change in the gameplay or the difference of this game’s tone. Let all that nostalgia go, and keep in mind this was a simple console one-shot, and it has it’s own irreverent, tongue-in-cheek style that differs greatly from RPGs Fallout 1 and 2. That said, there is actually a fun game here. The interface and viewpoint are carbon copies of the Baldur’s Gate: Dark Alliance interfaces, and the controls are equally as straightforward to use and as well laid-out. Unlike the “elves, swords, and magic” scenario that Baldur’s Gate presents you with, this game places you in the Wasteland, a scorched landscape in the future…the result of a global nuclear conflict which has killed millions, leaving only a few survivors, who roam the lawless deserts in search of meaning, weapons, and maybe even a dog. The action in this game is solid. Gunplay is a breeze, with a reliable “lock-on” button, and switching between weapons is a cinch. This is arguably more of an action game with RPG elements than anything else. There are sections you could term as “dungeon crawling”, and you will play sometimes just to level up. The real draw of this game is it’s post-apocalyptic setting, though. It’s a welcome change from the fantasy motifs of most action/RPGs, and I had a fun time gunning my way through Raide.
Fallout brotherhood of steel is a great dungeon crawler while people compare this game to fallout 3 which is insanely awesome fallout brotherhood of steel is a dungeon crawler not a open world rpg sandbox third or first person shooter Bethesda didn’t invent the fallout series it was interplay and ea about 30 years ago fallout brotherhood of steel is a interplay classic that being said this was the last fallout game interplay developed before they tanked if you play fallout 3 by Chevy Chase north you can see the interplay remembrance a rocket circling the earth to play a tribute to the original fallout developer now back to my review this game is tied in with balders gate dark alliance the intro and meeting the bar keep and receiving your first real quest than the 2 drift apart while balders gate is more difficult but it plays better but don’t get me wrong fallout is still a great dungeon crawler with a somewhat sophmoric sense of humor while balders gate is more serious I can honestly say this game deserves to stand next to balders gate and the bards tale for great old school dungeon crawlers of course marvel ultimate alliance

I had been looking to add this to my Fallout collection and I’m glad I did, was fun to dig out my xbox and pop this in, I had forgotten playing this but like riding a bike it came back. Being a used copy I was pleased to see the booklet and case in good condition and my next trip out I will have the disc buffed to clean up the slight visual imperfections (I’m fussy) , all in all a great little find.
Although Brotherhood of Steel is not exactly like the PC versions of Fallout it is still a very entertaining game. I am about halfway through and have been very pleased.
Just received my copy and it was in terrific condition. Case slightly dented from years of use but other than that it could pass for new. Which is incredible because this game was released in 2004. Thanks for a speedy and satisfying order!
Not having the patience to go back and play fallout and fallout 2, BOS is perfect to get my fallout fix without spending weekends for progression in the game. Even though BOS doesn’t have all the freedom like fallout 1 or 2, BOS still has the dark humor,post apocaliptic, no morals, and bad attitude feel that made me fall in love with the first 2 games. If BOS didn’t have that Fallout feel, I would’ve tossed the game. If you don’t have a job, or anything else to do during the day, I suggest you buy the first two games to completely understand BOS.
