Spidey mayhem abounds in this addition to the Legendary card game. It’s great to play Spiderman’s buddies against people like Doc. Doom or even Loki. It had me and my friends making fun of Loki because a mere altered human could defeat him, just by spinning webs and Wall-Crawling.
It is everything my son expected.
Once again Legendary puts together a great set of characters for a good expansion set. I was discussing with some friends that they should have included Jamison and Mary Jane Watson as bystanders.

THIS GAME IS THE BEST THING EVER, mind you, you have to have the base game.
If you love Legendary and want to even off the heroes a bit, or just want some new schemes and villains, this expansions is amazing. I like it most because now to randomize our heroes from this and the base game, we just roll a D-20 to pick which ones we wanna play with. Plus the new ability is quite nice.
DO NOT let the lack of power name heroes in this expansion discourage you. The villains and masterminds alone make this small box well worth.Mysterio and Carnage are the biggest breathes of fresh air as they don’t need really high damage numbers to be difficult like Apocalypse. Instead, they either do a lot of damage to your deck (Carnage) or they just won’t die (Mysterio). Combine with some of the included schemes and you get some nasty combinations that either the douche bag will win as he’s the only one playing for points, he’ll make everyone lose (as he was only playing for points), or you’ll throw in the towel and just play co-operatively.The "Wall-Crawl" mechanic isn’t too bad. It allows you to purchase hero cards with that keyword to the top of your deck versus to your discard pile. With a handful of those cards also involving card draw/deck manipulation as part of their standard play, you can come up with some interesting turns. Keep in mind, you are also flipping over new hero cards when you buy those so you can really "stack you deck" next turn or even your current turn.I feel several of the other small box expansions get more credit then they deserve due to the name recognition attached (Looking at you Guardians of the Galaxy and Fantastic Four). If you are more into interesting play and don’t mind having second string but competent heroes on the table, this is the small box for you.Note for older fans: The villains get the feel for old Maxi.
