Its Bethesda its huge. And I thought rock star made big games. I’m gonna be honest tes is addicting. And I don’t want to stop playing. I wish the ps3 had more tes and fallout games. But like I always say. I don’t mind the wait. It came undamaged.
No problems. Worked first time for my son.
I played this game about three years back, that’s the first time I ever tried it. Three years later, I still love it! I finally had to buy it, instead of just borrowing from my friend constantly. Although the graphics and engines in this game are pretty outdated, there’s a certain beauty that comes with that. I love the story mode in this game, and I love the various guilds you can join, with which you can work your way up to becoming the guild master. Even in 2013, this game still manages to satisfy so deeply, perhaps even more so than Skyrim. In my opinion, this has to be the best Elder Scrolls game Bethesda has made. Well done!
If you love RPG’s or wanna get into the genre, you cant miss oblivion – Specially GOTY (game of the year edition). You’ll get more than bang for your buck, ive played for over a month and i still havent got finished with original game let alone the extra content. Online reviews says 250hrs + of game play and that could be a conservative estimate. For $30 its a steal, you wont get disappointed, but the game does favor older gamers because of the apperent complexity of its gameplay, but its not so complex that no one can handle it. In conclusion, you will absolutely love this game, or at least I did!
If you love the freedom of venturing into a cave, abandoned fort, ancient ruin, or city just to loot the whole dang place and just maybe slaughter everything in there then this is the game for you! There’s not just that! There’s a rich, detailed, enthralling storyline about defending your home from an entire army of demons, becoming an assassin, defeating an ancient Mage, living the life of a mercenary, taking up the crusader name and fighting another god of chaos, and even becoming a god – yourself! This is a classic that you have to play. Just try to make your character look good; it’ll take you a while.
Great game! Lots of things I like better than Skyrim and a few I don’t. Definitely recommend.
As with all of the Elder Scrolls game, prepared to test the limits of your relationship, and your work schedule. To date, I have played this game a total of 2500+ hours and even to this day, I go back to the game every now and again, though I much more prefer its successor, Skyrim. It is a fantastic game that will wrap you up in a story and not let you go until its climax in the Temple. If I have a complaint about this game is that the PS3 version is a little too buggy for the console. I had multiple crashes and 2 game save corruptions that required a complete restart. Aside from that, if you really want this game, I recommend getting the PC version instead,
If you’re not familiar with the Elder Scrolls games, this is a good place to start for a modern console. It’s earlier than Skyrim, so don’t expect the same graphics. I originally played this game on the PC which is probably the best way to go. However, the PS3 version also translates well and looks pretty decent.
Amazing game, first Elder Scrolls I ever played and I am so happy I did, it started my love affair with the Elder Scrolls and Fallout series. Totally open world where you can ignore the main mission or follow it religiously and all possibilities in between. The games character creation system allows for a highly customizable character created to your liking. You can easily spend 100-200 hours playing this game before you even begin to feel like you’re running out of things to do.
