Definitely will recommend this game to anyone who enjoys history and easy to learn battling! I like the graphics, the design of costumes(look at Zhu Rong) and the English voiceover for characters in movies/events.
I’ve never played a Dynasty Warriors game before, so was incredibly skeptical upon ordering it. IT IS AMAZING! I’m hooked…The only downside is that the co-op split-screen map sucks. As I bought this to play with my girlfriend, it was a huge disappointment because half the time she can’t find me on the battlefield.AMAZING game though…
You absolutely need to buy this game if you are already a fan. The graphics and movie sequences are truly incredible, my friends said they feel like they were watching a real movie. The three kingdoms story itself is stimulating like always, and I never seemed to be caught in a boring moment.Now I understand some people are upset because their is no co-op offline story mode, yes I was very disappointed to find this out as well, but I still decided to give it a try.I think they decided leave out a co-op story mode because it would take too long for you to actually finish the game. Sometimes it’s hard to get two people to always be there to watch every sequence and every transition into every battle and to have the time to get together and play the game with a friend. If there are parts where your friend is busy and can’t join you, they are really missing out on the story. So to get the full experience single player story mode was in a way, necessary.However, the fact that their is multi-player in conquest mode still made it a fun game for friends. You need to complete most of conquest mode in order to unlock most of the characters; so there is a reason to complete the entire game.Overall I can say that this an experience I really enjoyed and a game I will never forget, in the end that is what video games are all about IMO.
I’ve been a fan of this franchise for a while now. This game definitely doesn’t disappoint but I wish there was more efficient online play.
Let me first clarify I am a big Dynasty Warrior fan, so my review may not be as objective as most people would like me to be.Dynasty Warrior 7 is so much better than 6!The series was going downhill starting from the 4th (or 5th) and the 6th installment was pretty much a shipwreck that was just trying to capitalize on the name.So, I was extremely disappointed with the 6th installment.So I picked up 7 anyways hoping things will get better.And it did.Dynasty Warrior 7 changed the game and my opinion completely!New battle systems, extensive story line mode, nice graphics etc, all seems to give this game a really nice outlook of revival.With the trend going up, I can only hope 8 will be much better.Overall this game is really fun and to me it is definitely worth the $60 purchase.I would still recommend it to friends.Some people might be less interested because its another button smash game however.So it is really up to your personal preferences.Before you make any purchases, I would definitely suggest checking out gameplay videos and reviews so you have a clear idea of whether you will like this game.Hope that helps!

I’m dynasty warriors hardcore fan with playstation series. I love Chinese three kingdom dynasty history in 180 to 270 year. Hope it will develop new feature in the future.
Honestly this game never gets old. I love the new weapons and characters. As always the graphics just get better and the story line is addicting. Just can’t stop playing!
