It is seriously one of the best action rpgs i’ve ever played. It’s sort of monster hunter, shadow of the colossus, skyrim and kingdoms of amalur all mixed together
During the nineties and the early two thousands, Capcom was one of the most prominent developers in the video game industry. However, after their controversial DLC decisions, the complete destruction of the Resident Evil franchise, and a slew of bad hits, Capcom paled in comparison to its former self. So when they put out a fantasy RPG just a couple of months after Skyrim released, I quickly looked over the game. However, having beat DragonĆ¢ā¬ā¢s Dogma: Dark Arisen, I regret not supporting the game at launch.DragonĆ¢ā¬ā¢s Dogma is an awesome game; however, if you are looking for an expansive story filled with a lot of lore, than you should probably look elsewhere. The main premise of the game is that you take control of a created character, who upon battling a dragon, has their heart ripped from their body. When a miracle occurs and you survive the attack, your quest begins to hunt down the dragon to get your heart back. There isnĆ¢ā¬ā¢t much to the story beyond this point. A couple of interesting ideas are brought up at the end of the game, but the rest are rather dull. The reason that you will continue to play the game, even after you realize that the story is lackluster, is the amazing combat mechanics. Part Ć¢ā¬ÅDark SoulsĆ¢ā¬Ā and part Ć¢ā¬ÅShadow of the Colossus,Ć¢ā¬Ā the combat is easily the best aspect of the title. You could mash some buttons and get through the beginning of the game, but if you are planning on surviving past the first two or three hours, you will have to adapt to the fighting sty.
The overall game is lacking. But somehow it always keeps pulling me back to play some more. The magick archer and warrior classes are some of the best gameplay i’ve ever experienced, and I always find myself playing this over technically better games like Dark Souls and Fallout: NV. If they ever decide to do a sequel, I hope the idea is more fleshed out and more expansive. This game has a good foundation, but it is too small.
This game is a lot of fun if you enjoy adventure games. The combat is smooth and fast and you get to fight a wide variety of enemies. The story is not amazing, somewhat generic, but it has it’s shining moments. The ability to continue playing after you finish the story or starting a new game + is fun.The "multiplayer" aspect of this game is through a helper (pawn) you create and the ability for others to use your pawn and using others’ pawns. It’s pretty interesting to see what other people create and there’s still a solid amount of people playing this game.I definitely recommend it.
Perfect!!!
Tons of replay value
What a good game
seriously underrated game.there is post game content and i havent even played dark arisen section yet.’tons of customization, replayability, classes, and this fixes any lack of fast travel with this better version.
This game’s pretty fun, but it does take a while to get used to the AI-team dynamic.I’m more of a "Dark Souls" guy, but that game does get frustrating. This is more of a straight-forward, arcade-style hack and slash game and it’s pretty good…4/5 stars good.
This game rocks! It has its nuances and I have my pet peeves but over all it has been a blast to play. The spells are epic and fun.
