Seriously, Dragon’s Crown has the most gorgeous 2D artwork that I’ve ever seen in a game. And even compared to some non-games (although a bit of the female objectification made me uncomfortable — it faded into the background after a while — it’s just stylized art vs. real life, after all). I enjoyed how each of the characters had distinctly different skills and techniques for attack and the varieties of monsters that were dynamically generated. My only issues with the game were that it was too repetitive and a lack of alternate storylines. I hope this game has DLC, as I’d eagerly await additional levels to be added to it.
Super fun. 4 player coop. Online multiplayer. Absolutely beautiful game/art/design.Patches fixed the performance issues that were visible at launch. So the game is a well-functioning oiled machine!Buy it!

Great game & good homage to classic beat ’em ups like Double Dragon, & the 2 Dungeon & Dragons games from yesteryear. If they make a second i’d suggest the ability to customize your characters looks more, so that when you play online with others it’s easier to discern who is who.

I give this a game a 5 because the graphics are awesome. it plays great you can go online and play with friends or random people, you can also have the AI tag along as help if you want to play alone. It reminds me of golden axe, and dungeons and dragons. there really should be more games like this, glad that atlas made this game possible.the story is not too deep but gives you enough to have some interest, there are quest and challenges to keep you going outside of just playing through the boards/stages. it has a battle mode, and a type of survival mode.if you dont get the artbook, the game has some of the art to collect within the game, and has a gallery modesomething i dont like about it is that when online sometimes the connections get really bad, i get the best out of it when i am the host of the session. also the screen gets overloaded with stuff going on and i sometimes have a difficult time seeing where my character is, but they do have different colored arrows pointing at each character. id recommend this game to pretty much anyone who likes 2d side scrollers. you can create multiple characters, name them choose different color palettes and level them up and also give them different skills. that is what gives this game replay value and keeps you interested.
