Now I can go on and on about the game. It’s a masterpiece in my eyes. But this shop is cheap. This game is good. The service is great. Go for it.
I have waited for this game for almost 2 years, and the wait was well worth it. Great graphics, good character interactions, great storyline, good side quests. All said, great game. I have already run through it once, and am on my second origin, enjoying it just as much as the first one!
Solid Game, one of the best out there, a solid improvement in most aspects over the previous title and I’m really excited for the next one.
Bought for son, he loves it. Fast ship. Good condition as stated by shop, very happy with
Huge Dragon Age fan. Loved the game and the story line
I rarely write reviews for video games, but I felt the need to stand up for this game and bump its average rating up. Dragon Age: Origins (DA:O) is an incredible traditional Western Role Playing Game (WRPG). In the spirit of Bioware/Black Isle’s classic WRPGs, there are lots of tactics, customization, dialogue choices, and a great story to boot. Here are my thoughts piece by piece.Graphics:I can’t believe people are seriously complaining about the graphics in this game. They aren’t perfect, but they are still of the quality of this generation of consoles. Also, there are very few frame rate “hiccups” and glitches when compared to games like Mass Effect and Fallout 3 (though I did love both of those games). For such a huge game, they would need multiple discs to make the graphics better.Sound:The music is superb and epic. You feel as if you are playing a Lord of the Rings Movie. The voice acting is also better than most games. I’d say its on par with Mass Effect and WAY better than in Oblivion.Gameplay:This is a turn-based RPG that has a similar pause and play mechanic to Baldur’s Gate, Icewind Dale, or Planescape:Torment. With that said, if you want to play on a difficulty level higher than casual (the easy difficulty), be ready to plan ahead on tactics, and pause a lot in combat to queue up special moves, potions and spells. I found myself bumping back to Casual on occasions where I just wanted to kick back and dungeon crawl. This is a great game, just don’t think you can ge.
Dragon Age: Origins is an excellent RPG. I bought this when it first came out and everything about the game is well done. If you haven’t played this game yet, definitely give this a go since Dragon Age 2 just came out, and though different, is a continuation of what happens here.
Reminded me a lot of KOTOR, but in a medieval storyline, lots of paths to take and great depth, awesome buy and totally worth the money, if you pay for the extra quests it is worth it
Intriguing story
I won’t get intot he specifics of this game, but it is one of the best RPG’s I have played in a long time. The graphics are just fine and the gameplay and story is involving. Kind of like Mass Effect with a more natural feel. Love the fact that the game takes forever to play too. Can’t stand the games that I dish out $60 for and I finish it in about 4 hours. This one is about a 40 hour adventure, not including the downloadable content which is really good and continues the game a lot longer. I have finished it 3 times so far, with different characters and classes and the story is never the same. I also used to only buy my games from Gamestop. I now only use retrolio. They are MUCH cheaper than Gamestop and I don’t pay sales tax which is huge in my eyes as I buy quite a few games at a time. The shipping is really inexpensive and is worth a couple days wait for the money I save.
