A really good game for a zombie enthusiast. My son spent hours beating the story mode, and still picks it up from time to time for a free for all mode, which is saying alot.
As advertised
Diffrences in OTR:-Frank-Photo System-Alterned Story to fit Frank as the main character-Uranis Zone-Few New Combo Weapons-A Few New Survivors (4 or so but they dont do anything special)-A Few New Pshycos (3 I think)-Some Returning Pshyco Fights have added features and fight differently-Sandbox Mode That includes 30 single player challenges & 30 Co-op challenges-New Code where Zombies who you think are dormant or hiding pop up and scare you It is effective )-A Few New Food Items-A New Final Boss-Better Graphics on the Zombies Although I didnt notice)-50 New Achievments if you careOne of the new pshycos is a relative of one of Franks old enemys in DR1. Frank makes mention of his past DR1 days occasionly which I found funny. He also has some smart ass remarks that are amusing. Not all old missions return and some are tweaked. The same map other than Uranis Zone is used. Frank shares alot of the same experiences Chuck did but he also has some of his own. Hes not just a re-skin of Chuck. Think of it as what MVC3 Ultimate will be to MVC3. New things with old things mixed and tweaked.
What more needs to be said when you can attach a few chainsaws to a broom handle, then that on a bike and ramming through hordes of the undead? Only if you can do so dressed as a half pig-half stripper photographer while escorting a drunk woman dressed as a mermaid. If you’ve played deasrising 2 there is little need to play this one, it has all the same weapons and only one new area.
Essentially the exact same game as the original Dead Rising Two, the only difference is that you are Frank West. You still have to use Zombrex every 24 hours, but the difference is you don’t have to be at the safe house to do it. Otherwise the game is identical with a slightly different plot.
Dead Rising 2: Off the Record follows up on Frank West, the protagonist of the original Dead Rising. The premise is still the same, a limited amount of time to uncover the truth behind the outbreak and survivors to rescue. Weapons can be combined to create powerful new ones.My favourite part is the sandbox mode, a free-roaming unlimited time mode where you can complete challenges and explore Fortune City. There is online multi-player, but no local multi-play.
Fun Game to kill time, pun something or other.on time delivery.Safely packaged.Satisfied.
I spent a whole week playing this game with a friend so Its worth the 20 bucks its a great game
I like Deadrising Off the record better than the original deadrising 2. Off the record is a little bit better constructed than the original deadrising, and I love the camera feature that is brought back from deadrising 1. Off the record IS NOT A NEW DEADRISING it is just a little bit different from the original deadrising 2, new character, new places in the mall, new combo weapons, and new enemy`s to fight, and of course the camera feature. I would recommend this game to anyone who likes any of the deadrising games, its worth buying.
Hello random retrolio shopper. Looking for an older game, that CLAIMS new, but really isn’t? Well look somewhere else. Amazingly, the game was actually new. (Nonoriginal shrinkwrap of course) but I peeled of the xbox sticker on the side, and sure enough it was a new game. Will test for issues but as is it’s worth the 5. Good job guys.
