This game is HOT. A definite buy, with features like online play, multiplayer, game mode and a quest mode with “bosses”. Besides having great music, this game is a big upgrade from the older DDR’s having next-gen graphics. I would have given this game 5 stars but the loading does take a long time, however you can fix it by saving the entire game onto your 360’s harddrive. Online play is great but there are too many shy players that don’t go online, but if you want a challenge, then add me to your friendlist ( Mister Chief 13 ).
Its been a while since I bought the first iteration of the DDR series on the PS1. So I have to say that this is a definite upgrade. It has a extensive training mode, a lot of songs, and was responsive when I played it. My wife loved this for Christmas because she can dance for achievement points. I am sure that having the last release of this game this one might not seem so great, however if you have been away for a while it really is impressive where they have gone with it.
This game was very fun. I enjoyed this product. My only thought is to have more popular music on the game. It was pretty good otherwise.Note: As long as you have a hard floor the mat won’t move- beware of carpets regardless of shag quality.
Love, love, LOVE this game. Especially this one. It’s very, very, very addicting to play. I love playing this during the winter months and it gives me a good cardio. I love all the songs on this game too and it’s fun to unlock new songs too. I get a good sweat from this game. 5 stars all the way. Can’t wait for it to arrive this weekend.

I bought it as a fun and cheap exercises tool (for adults too). I take a week to practice through the beginner level and start burning up calories and feel fun in the basic level. Totally agree that the game is not well written. It takes long time to load and you need to press “A” to go through the meaningless messages. Every time you fail a song, you have to go back and select again and again. Well, I see it as a chance to get water and rest a bit between songs. As game progresses, you can unlock more songs and clothes. This game should last at least 2 months for me.
If you are looking for a extremely fun way to burn a few calories this is it!I got it within a reasonable time frame and everything was in good condition and I was fully satisfied with everything.Only a couple things I would recommend would be to get an additional mat because it is so much more fun to challenge your friends,and it does tend to move as you dance, if it is on thick carpet I believe it would work better if you have a flatter surface to use it on.If you want a fun active game that everyone can enjoy this would be it!
i bought this game for my children to play, i always have a houseful. i had no idea how entertaining it would be for me to just sit back and watch them while i laugh hysterically! if you have children or just want to have fun yourself, i highly recommend this game!
I really enjoy this game, I do not get the loading problems that other people are discussing, I play on ceramic tile, and have no problems with the pad. There is an issue – the bonus stages are difficult – even when you play on Basic – its faster, and the steps are closer together, I can’t unlock songs! lol, if you get 3 boos or goods, you fail the song, and have to wait again to try later. I think this is for people who are highly adept with DDR will enjoy this game more.
This game is so much fun and provides quite a workout. It plays like it’s Arcade big brothers, but allows for more privacy. It’s great for parties and family. If you can add a 2nd dance pad that doubles the fun factor. This game is a must buy for those looking for a casual game that provides hours of fun.
